The reasons that Tottenham and Daniel Levy are yet to finalise their search for fresh equity investment are becoming increasingly clearer.

Spurs officially announced that they were open to a takeover earlier this year, with chairman and co-owner Levy using language that left the door open for majority or minority investment.

It's actually seven that could theoretically qualify:
Top 4 teams in the Prem
5th place in the league - through the league performance in Europe route
If a team wins the Champions league, but falls outside the champions league places in the Prem.
If a team wins the Europa league, but falls outside the champions league places in the Prem.
