Hoping Ade will be sorted soon. Expect a bid for Willian and Damiao in the coming weeks. Moutinho seems to be slipping away #THFC

The same Willian that Chelsea were after and Shaktar turned down 30 mill? Damiao who we heard about for what seems like forever and we always valued lot less than Inter?

Unless Levy suddenly are ready to fork out lot of money this just seems like more top names beeing linked with us but never happening. Can only hope we do have money available, but not seen much suggesting so.

I hope we soon start to see some less known players like Adrian, since those deals seems lot more likely and also very exciting.

Jesus fucking Christ. Roman must have actually worn his nub completely down. He is, as of now, utterly dickless. It's the only logical explanation as to why he's signing every single player currently signed to a professional contract in European and South American football
Hah! And wait till the polar icecap has melted. He'll be extracting them from the arctic quicker than you can say shale gas. A megalomaniac, no doubt due to an unhappy childhood (the other kids kept stealing his toys).

so who is going to replace modric? joe allen isnt in the same league.

No one it seems, up untill now I've been sure Modric is leaving. However seems that Real just won't come up with what is needed so who knows, Luka to stay another year?

Thought Liverpool weren't allowed to sign any Swansea players for a year after Rogers leaving?

I think they are if Swansea are entertaining offers from other Clubs and they better those offers...plus I think Allen has a clause in his own contract..

Yes agree. But this whole window its been Lloris, Hulk, Moutinho, Falcao, Damiao, Oscar etch. At the end of the day they all seem to go cold for the same reason; Fee beeing to high.

Might be we play it cool and some go through (nothing would please me more), but then they do a dam good job hiding it. When we get linked to players like Adrian, Wellington, Butland and Cazorla or out of favour players like Mueller and Sahin it always just feel more realistic. All those are quality or potential top quality players to, and just hope we dont use to much time and focus on the biggest names only to forget about that tier just behind and ending up short.

edit: But i guess in a big club like Spurs we do have lot of ppl working on transfers so nothing gets overlooked;)

i would take butland and hulk myself out of that lot . wud be well impressed by those 2 and hulk could make massive difference as he gives option to play a different way and mix it up.

the rest of those names arent interested id say maybe lloris id take as well and loan butland . im sick of leandro to be honest but while he would be great to have as well i simply just cant see it at all. inter got a wad of cash now off chelsea and im sure that will keep the banks at bay for while if they are in debt. would take smiliar bid to get him and for life of me cant see spurs bidding over 16million.

What i secretly hope is we let our targets be announced on purpose so other clubs notice and go in for them, while ours and AVB's most preferred targets stay a secret so we can work them with little competition. Let the biggest guns buy all they want, and then its the time for Spurs to strike!;)

edit: And if there ever was a chairman and coach brewing up something like this, its most likely the pair we have at Spurs!

Watzke: Nuri Sahin will not be coming back to Dortmund - The Turkey international has failed to settle at Real Madrid

So the story here is that he was interested in returning to them, but they have moved on. Interesting on many levels.

Real Madrid’s Nuri Sahin will not be heading back to Borussia Dortmund this summer says general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke.
The 23-year old German-born Turkey international, who has recently been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United, has failed to settle in Madrid and could be on the move during the current transfer window.
But Watzke insists that Sahin will not be returning to German champions Dortmund at this stage after he left the club for the Santiago Bernabeu last summer.
"Sahin coming back to us is not planned, either by him or us," Watzke told Sport Bild.
"However, he' s a boy with a Dortmund past and he came from our youth team, so I would never rule out a return."

Oh God, please let us sign Sahin. I'll never ask you for anything ever again. Not that I believe in you anyway, but worth a shot.

He won't, I might even though I consider myself mostly atheist but I agree with the notion

I agreed with this post, but I can't agree to not asking for more. I might ask to pair him back up with Lewandowski.
