This kid looks class.

I can totally see why scouts might think he’d be on our bench next season. He has the size and physicality that many kids don’t have until their early 20s.

No need for unnecessary pressure, of course, but sometimes you can just see it when a kid has the lot. Same with Bale when he was at Saints.
While I agree and hope you're right, we only have to look back a few years in our own history to players like John Bostock and Dean Parrett for kids who used their physical advantages in youth to great effect, but who completely stalled when they got to play with the big boys.

Cautious optimism is the way to go. I really hope he can turn into a special player.

First remember he is only just 16. Don’t think he will get near our bench till 19/20. And I wouldn’t go comparing him to bale has nowhere near bale pace or physical presence yet. He’s a good size for 16 but not a monster. But anything can happen physically in next 2/3 years. I think mctominay grew 8 inches or something silly like that from 16.

Yes, yes, I know all of that.

I'm just excited about one of our young attacking players for a change. Like all of them, he's got a lot of work to do to make it and blah, blah, all of that.

I just see something in him that I saw in Bale, it's just an opinion.

He has that thing class players have time on the ball. Nothing looks rushed. A bit of the Berbatov about him.

What you just miss in that footage is Paris Maghoma coming over and shoving Parrot in the chest quite aggressively for some reason. Anyone know why?

Still seems a bit odd by Paris. I’d guess if it was a close friend he wouldn’t have done that. Just hope he’s settling in alright, last thing we need is him getting home sick cause he’s being alienated by the other lads.

You can see Parrott stalking that lad who's picking on little Skipp from a distance and once he reaches him, he gives him what he deserves for picking on the smallest player on the field
