On top of all that Spurs have applied to Haringey Council to be allowed to stage up to 30 non football events.
The only way for local residents to get something done is to take the matter up with the local MP and Haringey councillors .
Also TFL don't help, it seems that for almost every concert no trains through WHL.
If the transport was up to it, I see no issue with it. The trouble is that the planning is clearly lacking.

TFL schedules overground repairs every weekend from May to mid-July without accounting for the fact that there are still events at the stadium. They need to run more bus services because I had people opening them whenever they wanted, as the drivers refused to stop at stops to let people on or off. So people were going to buses at red lights and opening the doors themselves. It was fucking crazy.

You can complain to the council, but it needs to be both Haringey and Enfield. There currently no MPs :ROFLMAO:

There very much was a plan for better transport links to Tottenham - Crossrail 2 was due to serve Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters and Northumberland Park. It would have delivered services every 2 minutes, going through central London (Euston, St Pancras, Tottenham Court Road and Victoria) before heading out to Surrey. Unfortunately, when TFL needed extra funding to survive their almost total lack of income during lockdown, one of the conditions was that they suspended all work on the Crossrail 2 scheme. Hopefully the next Government allows it to be reinstated, but realistically we'd be talking at least ten years between that decision being made and the line opening.

Fingers crossed. 🤞

Need some advice for a friend.

He is going to Brentford next weekend and is traveling down from just North of Bristol. He is taking his 14 year old son who is partially disabled so wants as simple a route as possible. His preference is to drive to somewhere outside of the M25 and then come in via overland and is looking for suggestions on where would be easiest making as few changes as possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Drive northbound on M25 to junction 25 and head towards Cheshunt station (very close to motorway junction). From there he can get the overground (south) directly to White Hart Lane (around 15 min trip).

Biggest tip is for the return journey is to stay in the ground for a good half hour after the game. Let his son watch the players walking around the pitch and grab a drink from one of the bars in the ground and chat through what happened during the game, maybe even take him to the club shop for a momento of the day. Let the rush for the train quieten down and then head back to Cheshunt.
