Spurs transfer commitee have drawn a blank, so they're asking the fans. They will count the names listed and the most popular will be the players we 'try' for in the last week of the window.

Saying that I'm in for Dibling

Probably in order of importance:

DM: Douglas Luiz or N'Golo Kante
WF: Semenyo (no chance), Mbeumo or Grealish
CB: Tomori or Skriniar
CF: David or Cunha (more of a hybrid forward)

I think we need experienced players ready to come in and make an instant impact, and add leadership to our young team.

Guessing you’ve read this?

Yeah wasn't sure if I could post that here.

Been watching quite a bit of Lille this season and they've been impressive in the champions league, beating both Real and Atletico Madrid and drawing with Juventus.

Along with Alessandro Ribeiro, Chevalier would have been a great option when we were looking at a keeper. Bouaddi and Mukau are both great young midfielders that I would love but Bouaddi is too young and we have Gray and Bergvall. Mukau is still raw and only been at Lille for 6 months although similar to Baleba.

They also have Zheghrova, David and Angel Gomes who would all be good squad options but think we can do better.

In which case not conceding is more important. We need both but bissouma cost us the arsenal game and plenty of others. We need experience as well. 18 year olds have been good but there's a reason we are losing and that's lack of in game intelligence.
But bissouma is one of the older experienced players?
It wasn't an 18 year old making that mess.

Would try for Nathan Ake. Left footed centre back who can cover full back. Has pace to play in a high line, decent on the ball and has PL experience.
He is probably surplus to requirements at City with Gvardiol being favoured before the new defensive arrivals.
Homegrown too which is another benefit.
Thought we should have signed him from Bournemouth years ago.

Can’t see where else to put this but I’m from Wolverhampton and a source I have close to the club is telling me we have enquired about cunha and he is keen to come. Apparently we tapped him up a few weeks back

Can we have two threads, one for vaguely realistic posts and one for fever dreams. 😀

I’d be surprised (and delighted) if we bring in two more players in Jan, writing a list of 6 is just pointless (unless you are saying any two of these 6 or something similar).

I did the analysis last year, and no big 6 team have brought in more than 2 players in one January window outside of Chelsea going insane in Jan 23 in the last 5 years. So if you’re happy with us forking out €200m for a Fernandez and a Mudryk then of course you can get deals done, people will accept way way over the odds. But otherwise it’s just not realistic.

id love a forward and either a versatile defender or a DM. Get 2 more and I’ll be thrilled

...that will be any transfer at this point.

Jonathan David scored for Lille vs, Liverpool yesterday m
Is there something wrong with him attitude wise or something? He's available on a free in the summer so can sign a pre contract with someone outside of France now.

He has 25 goal involvements in 31 games including 5 goals and 1 assist in 6 champions league games this season.

I'm just surprised he doesn't have more suitors

I personally can’t see the point in chasing players like Delap and Cunha in January. Their clubs will not part with them for anything less than stupid money as they are one of their main tickets to avoid relegation. Would love to be pleasantly surprised but if we bought either we would be overpaying this month.

I think he will have bigger suitors than us now unfortunately. We had a similar situation with neto where i met one of the wolves staff who said neto wanted to join us and we all know what happened there.

Cunha would be ideal, but I can't see us competing with Arsenal or even Forest the way things are looking. And Wolves are doomed without him.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

22nd and still nothing, feels like the club is putting out PR on helping Ange in this window

Think he’d do a good job backing up or competing with Solanke. Use Richy as LW depth with Moore

Agree likelihood of wasting time is extreme. You would never guess there was any urgency required.

I do wonder how the extra two european games play into clubs not wanting to sell early in the window. Even Slavia went into a big risk with selling Kinský and having only one senior keeper available for their games.

Why is the name N'Golo Kante doing the rounds on here?

I know this is a wishlist thread but surely Kante isn't a realistic possibility?
