How many Bindipper fans does it take to change a light bulb? None. All of them will just moan about how Spurs fans bought the bulb they wanted.

If this thread teaches us anything it's to wait until the window is shut before joking about the failings of Arsenals transfer window.

Not sure why we are often so premature, mind the gap springs to mind.

Ozil could be a complete flop, don't jump the gun!

Nicked this from somewhere else, but found it funny:
Ozil completes his move to Arsenal for £42.5m plus add ons based on success.
So potentially the total fee could rise to, well, £42.5m.

Most of the jokes are about Arsenals reluctance to spend money which was swiftly followed by a £43.5m outlay on one player. That's what I was referring to.

Here is a good joke:

Arsenal fan: We have had a better transfer window than Tottenham and Ozil is better than Tottenham's seven signings combined

Somebody I know actually said this...

Anzhi Machakalackadingdong and all their transfer dealings. A particular favorite is them buying Chris Samba from Blackburn, then actually managing to sell him to QPR, only to buy him back 6 months later and sell him again. Money laundering anyone? :p

Not beyond the realm of possibility:

"Russian Premier League club Anzhi Makhachkala’s fortunes continued to deteriorate on Monday after authorities in Belarus issued a warrant for its owner’s arrest. Suleyman Kerimov, who is also the majority shareholder and co-owner of Uralkali, a Moscow-based potash company, is under investigation for corruption.

...Officials in Belarus have now put Kerimov on Interpol’s most wanted list, after Uralkali CEO Vladislav Baumgertner was charged and detained in Belarus in late August. Russian news agency RT reported that Baumgertner is currently being held at a KGB jail in Minsk, the Belarusian capital, possibly in solitary confinement."

Ironically, the funniest thing about this thread is the amount of jokes made at Arsenal's expense on August 30th. They seem to dry up a little after that.
