Happy for you to post this on other forums. I believe someone called POTL on COYS said that Gareth Bale returned to full training today. This is incorrect. Bale trained in the "crocked" training session along with Kaboul, Charlie and THUDD. They did some ball skills and passing and just a bit of running around. None of them will feature this weekend. I am not sure about next week.

We got to see the kids train with Sir Les. Looked like a feisty session. Good to see.

Everyone else trained together apart from Modders. He only turned up after training had finished. Either he was properly late or he is still not fit enough to train from his operation. I would say then he won't be playing Sunday!

Harry was late arriving from Bournemouth so he flew up in a helicopter. This blew my mind a bit. He had to do a SSN press conference before training started so he did that whilst the training session commenced. It seemed really, quite light weight. Prob 1.5 hours at most outside. The match they played was only 20 minutes.

I tell you what tho. Alan Hutton looked absolutely on it. Really fit and was playing really well. Got a lot of praise from Harry and Clive during the session. He was in for every tackle and looked hot. I hope he plays on Sunday. I was surprised how vocal they all were. Especially Gomes. I never hear it like that on TV or at the matches so it was great to hear they all properly communicating, in English and all calling for the ball or "time" or warning of challenges coming. Really encouraging (for me!).

After the session ended, we formed an angry mob and bacisally blocked the path from the pitch to the changing rooms. Not all the players came down - some stayed for more training and some must have left via another route or gone to another pitch as they evaporated.

thanks bud, those pics are really appreciated.

Few questions that you may be able to answer:

Anyone else stand out in the full training session?

How was pav's and sandro's communication skills? (any sign of the legendary russian translator?)

Anyone of the youth players stand out?

Whats with VDV's crop top?

it's a GPS tracking monitor.
Allows the coaching staff to monitor heart rate, distance run, etc.

used for players who are coming back to fitness, so if he needs to up his training regime thats how they adjust it by the result from the tracking monitor

Awesome to see. Hearing about Hutton is quite pleasing...

All these players coming back could be the boost we need to edge us to the CL as well.

Did Harry not just say on Talk Sport that Bale would be given 30 mins on Sunday?

he did. Would be good to see and how VDV get some game time as well. Start VDV and bring him off for Bale?

I would saY its much more imperative that Bale gets some game time given that he's been out for the guts of six weeks - if its not risky to do so. If VDV can feature would be great though.

Sounds good to me. Neither are going to be lasting 90 mins against Wolves, so it makes sense to make the most of them in this match, whilst also helping them be in better shape for the Milan game.

Bale on for VDV after 60. Start VDV against Milan, and if we manage to find ourselves chasing the game later on...bring on the Bale Gale...

Without having shinguards I highly doubt that their training involves any physical contact, let alone slide tackles. No wonder they concede silly penalties. If not for that at least they should wear them so their legs and ankles get used to them.

I saw Bostock and Livermore among the players. Good stuff. Hopefully no more loans for them and more first team time.

Think it's a bit optimistic that they will get game time. If they couldn't for lower league teams why would Harry leave out a player for them?

If they couldn't make it in the lower league they shouldn't even train with us let alone hope for a chance to play. Therefore I would assume that "not being good enough" is not the actual reason that they are not with those teams anymore.
