Anyone interested? Froome among the biggest favourites again, as usual.

Fantastic first day today with a sprint finish at Utah Beach, makes it much more interesting than starting with a time trial IMO. Expect Cavendish, Kristoff, Greipel and Kittel to go hell for leather.

I'm interested. I think the public will be even more against the British team than normal following Brexit.

I just want to see a Froome/Van Garderen battle again. Think Tejay would have a better chance this year since he has Richie Porte to help him now

Can't wait till we reach the mountains. Hours of endless flat cycling with so few attack bores me even as a big cycling fan.

Yesterday's stage was a huge joke with the one man breakaway, and even more of a joke with Voeckler getting the red start number after the race. Better today, two amazingly close finishes in a row now.

Tomorrow's stage should be a good one.

Chris Froome just had a brilliant race and was hitting 56mph downhill, great race

Should win the yellow jersey

Great win today. Not getting the attention of accolades he deserves.

England are 1st and 2nd in the General Classification, and are wearing 3 colours. An Irishman is also very near the top in the GC.

The Irishman is a a load more english than the current leader.

Wouldn't surprise me if a French tour shrugs and chuckles to itself about this!

I'm surprised at Mollema not just stopping the race until all GC riders were ready to go again. Not huge sportsmanship to grab his bike and jump over Froome in the process.

Looks like they've given Froome Mollema's time. Seems a reasonable fix, but in reality he would have taken more out of Yates and Quintana.

Literally the only way they could've done it IMO. Yes he would've taken more time from the other favourites but trying to stipulate an exact time would've been pure guesswork.

Just hope Porte isn't hurt. Had his knee bandaged up when he got in the car to drive to the hotel.

Also, absolutely disgraceful that Froome was booed when he received the yellow today. The Frenchies can be a despicable bunch.

Still think Quintana can do it? Looked absolutely shot today and will almost certainly lose time on the TT tomorrow.

Nope. he's nowhere near it by the looks of things. There are a few that are short of where they would want to be(Aru, Pinot mainy).
