Were the MOTD highlights biased towards us? I ask because they showed us largely dominating the game while at the same time being a bit too open and vulnerable to them throwing the kitchen sink at us. They took 3 of 4 good chances, we took 4 of 6 or 7 (again, based on the MOTD highlights). So I don't quite understand the "Wycombe deserved more" line.

People always say that about plucky underdogs who narrowly lose to Prem opposition.

Well we dominated possession and had more shots. It's the plucky underdog thing isn't it. It's nonsense.

Dude open your eyes, look around at the other fixtures and particularly Premiership teams, everyone played weakened teams, that's the point in having a squad. You cannot play strong teams in every game because players will burn out psychically and mentally and we need to give chances to the backups and youth. You are ridiculous If we can't play the liked of Sissoko and Trippier against a fekin league 2 team then we really have problems.

You're the kind of person who'd want to play our strongest team and wonder why the intensity drops off in April.
Three things:
One - I ain't your dude.
Two - Don't presume my "type" of person.
Three - Read what I say don't presume to have read what you think I have said by reading between the lines. I'm not saying don't play a weakened team - I'm saying don't make 9 wholesale changes and risk fucking it up again (like we have for the past 5 years!).
We'll leave it there.

Whatever your personal opinion of the FA cup is, it's 2017, the FA cup isn't taken particularly seriously by the top teams for a whole plethora of reasons. Yes, we have great history in the completion but the fact is that it plays 3rd fiddle to the premier league and European football because it generates less money.
I don't care what the other teams do - we are THFC and 4 games away from winning the damn thing.
I'm old school mate. I'd rather win something and finish 3rd than win NOWT again and finish 2nd.
Check out Mohrinho - he desperately wants to win the EFL cup, with Manure, he won it against us with Chelski- winning trophies that's what it is about. Chelski have 3 more than us now - I care about that. I don't care about the freaking money. Jeeez.

MOTD and many pundits want the plucky little sides to go far in the competition and then become lambs to the slaughter
at the big boys table.

And not at our hands because we are upstarts - how dare we ?

And your argument is still pathetic, don't make 9 wholesale changes even though we were playing a league 2 team, league fucking 2.

Also why are you moaning when we WON the match, what is wrong with you?!

As Poch apparently said after the game:

"If you cannot play in this type of game, we will have a problem."

Yes they weren't first team starters out there to begin the match, however they are part of the first team squad and if that group of players aren't able to beat a team 3 divisions below then questions need to be asked of their ability to replace our first team when called upon
Yes, but it's not quite as simple as that.

They are called upon and should be able to replace regular first team starters - which they probably do well when only one or two changes are made.

But when he effectively strings together a new back 5, who hardly ever play competitive football together, there's a risk they may be poor.

Our first XI are third in the league and punching above our weight, not because player-for-player we have better individuals than those around us but because our team plays better as a unit.

The 'telepathic' passing and movement of the first XI comes through playing together.

So I don't think it's a fair reflection of the individual players.

They also said it in our win over West Ham.

A game where West Ham's two best attacks...were corners. That's all they did offensively all game and yet people said they were unlucky and deserved something...bollocks.

Even if we played our first team there's no guarantee we'd have a cup even now.

You're obviously too accustomed to the sanitised bollocks of the premier league! Yesterday's game was an example of how competitive and, to a point, how levelling a gut busting degree of effort and sheer will made our country's football the most popular on the planet.

Do you enjoy coming across as a sanctimonious twunt?

For you information I watch my local league of Ireland team and funnily enough the laws of the game are normally followed, non dependant on who was playing.

There is no place in the game at any level for one person to try and level the playing field.

100% agree.

Also, your reply was to mattbrakeuk who says the top teams don't take the FA Cup seriously. Really? Since Everton won the FA Cup the following is the breakdown of the winners in the top six:

Chelsea - 6
Arsenal - 6
Man United - 4
Liverpool - 2
Man City - 1
Tottenham - 0

19 of the last 21 FA Cup Finals have been won by five of the current top six. Arsenal twice, Liverpool and Man United won the three cups after we last won in 1991.

I would hazard a guess that one of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United or Man City will win this year's FA Cup, but lets continue to push the myth that the big clubs don't take it seriously.

The only big club that seems not to have taken the FA Cup seriously is Tottenham Hotspur.

Of course the top teams are going to win more often than not, he's not saying that they literally disregard the competition he is saying that it's not a primary competition any more as opposed to the league and the CL. Look at our rival's starting lineups across the fixtures this weekend and you'll see that everyone used this competition to rest first teamers and play reserves.

I still haven't heard a convincing argument as to Why Poch shouldn't have made 9 changes despite playing a League 2 team, not one.

I'm moaning at your attitude mate.
I'm also moaning because we got out of jail. You can't see beyond the win which is incredible.
Look Alan Shearer's also moaning and he knows a little bit about football.

Go educate yourself, show some respect and lose your nasty little retorts and condescending tone.

Changes made to Starting X1 as just discussed by Alan Shearer and the expert professional football knowledge team of pundits at the BBC. Klopp also fucked it up - he didn't get away with it - we did. Just accept it - 9 wholesale changes was dumb and we got away with it.

Leeds. Changes made 10. LOST 0-1
Soton. Changes made 10 LOST 0-5
Brighton. Changes made 9 LOST 1-3
Liverpool. Changes made 9 LOST 1-2
Newcastle. Changes made 9 LOST 0-3
Spurs. Changes made 9 WON and got fucking lucky 4-3
Watford. Changes made 7 LOST 0-1
