Why would he cry? He wants out that bad!?

In all seriousness, why are we accepting his position so easily as fans? It’s a small time attitude. I often laugh at those who say we don’t have a winners attitude as fans, mainly because that’s bollocks, but we can be unhappy with players showing they don’t want to play for our club.
It’s why I don’t revere Sheringham, Berbatov or Modric quite as much as some do. Eriksen for me, is approaching that category of player. They all made it clear they didn’t want to play for us whilst employed by our club, they then return as hero? Nah, not for me lads. Give me Edinburgh, King and Mabbutt ( same with our two Harry’s right now ) over the likes of them everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

In Eriksens defence, he chose to go on tour when he didn't have to recovering from surgery, he's not refused to play, he's not even refused to take penalties. It's not like he's purposefully being shit at penalties - he missed for Denmark in the world cup too. I understand your sentiment but there's no tangible evidence to suggest he's being a **** which can be proven as fact, it's all hearsay but his actions have been professional so I wouldn't lump him in with the players you mentioned. Me suggesting he looks like he appears as if about to cry isn't evidence of anything, it's just a guess on my part it isn't fact.

Let’s hope Poch is a bit more sensible answering questions in his post match interview. We done need more over reacting.

Sheringham I’ve gone right off tbh as he comes out with some right shit about us at times (plus his claim to have been a spammer fan when he joined them, considering he always said was spurs before that).

Berbatov has nice things to say about us now but behaved so so badly to get his move to Man U, where he may have won things but he was never as good as he was with us combined with Keano (another who is one of my all time favourites but he still pushed for move to Liverpool, when he’d have been better to stay put).

King I’m always cynical about tbh as if he had two knees what would have happened? We may have won more having such an outstanding defender fit all the time, but also bigger clubs may have come calling...

Sorry the world has made me cynical lol.

Mabbutt is a ledge though, same with Edinburgh, god rest his soul, still so so sad.

We were never going to be busting a gut today. Who wants to risk tweaking a hammy, or twisting an ankle the week before the season starts. It was just a preseason run out. People need to chill and not read too much into games like these.

If we perform like that against Villa, then by all means start to moan.

It’s all conjecture, but I agree, he did seem too frustrated for him to be as indifferent as some suggest.

I'm going to demand a pay rise tomorrow because I go in on Mondays when I don't really fancy it.

Let's hope Eriksen doesn't ever take a penalty in our colours again. As proven this summer, he shouldn't even be put on them in a friendly.

Yeah but I hate that this forum can't distinguish perception from fact, not accusing the person I quoted of that but the forum as a whole.

I kind of expected this reaction.

There's quite a few things that aren't clicking in our play.
1. Kane looks fit but has barely got into any scoring positions at all during this preseason except for the Juve game.
2. Eriksen looks like he doesn't give a damn and we have no idea if he'll be lining up for us next week or not and we're having trouble with getting a replacement in.
3. Ndombele has his moments but seem very lazy off the ball
4. We look dreadful when playing the diamond but Poch still insists on it despite us looking a lot better with the 4-2-3-1
5. The rightback position is a real worry. I was impressed with KWP for a large portion of the game but he's just not up to par defensively

And that's only the first ones that come to mind

I would too with the back breaking labour working the fields as judging by that post you work a lot with strawmen.

I doubt he wanted to miss. Off or not.
Of course not. Just think his hearts not in it anymore. Spent the whole season expecting to get his dream move and it's gone tits up. Honestly think if we can get the replacement in we'd be better off letting him go and wishing him well tbh. Pochs philosophy very much depends on everyone being on board and pushing in the same direction. I don't think CE has been in that place for the best part of a year.
