I love that people were expecting us to play Champagne football tonight in a critical game in torrential rain. People slagging off players when we qualify for the Champions League is nuts. People calling for 4-5-1 at home to Young Boys, why? I think they had one shot, they had a decent amount of the ball but never put us in any danger.

Let's be honest we didn't play great and still spanked them. That is what great teams do. This is the first great Spurs team I can remember for a long time. We are in the Champions League and I absolutely love it!!!

Harry is a seriously good manager. It doesn't look promising from his interview that we will sign any players. All those ITK that have claimed Fabiano is close - it really doesn't appear so now? Am I reading something wrong here?

He scratched his ear nervously when he gave his answer, blatant sign he was lying. Do not fear good sir :)

Firstly well done to Harry, Crouchie and Benny first of all. who I thought were outstanding. Crouch just pipped it for mom, Benny got the first half though. I am so chuffed

2153: Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp: "It's fantastic. When I came here the dream was to get into the group stages and we've achieved that so that is something to look forward to. We haven't made many changes (to the squad) here and we don't need to. We are happy with the squad and unless we can improve it we will sit tight. We will give anybody a game. It is a tough place here and we want to progress as far as we can."

perhaps because we couldnt string 3 passes together, because we kept giving the ball away and because young boys had alot of possession, and all it would have taken was one flukey goal when we were 2 nill up to cause a dangerous problem

but hindsight is lovely isnt it?

The Uefa seedings for Thursday's draw are due to be confirmed by 2300 BST, but it is looking almost definite that the Londoners will be in Pot Three. That means they could face Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Spartak Moscow - surely the dream draw for Spurs fans, that - or it could mean Lyon, Shakhar Donetsk and CFR Cluj - which is a tad less glamorous, let's be honest.

Here's my rough guess...we'll get Lyon & Real Madrid. Either way, great result tonight. Come on!

Great night, whatever happens from now the Group stages will be a tremendous experience for us and the players. Really hope we get one of the bigger teams so we can test ourselves.

Just back from the game, great win. Night started of bad, did anybody else get stuck outside the south stand? we were waiting outside from 25mins, missed the first 15 mins.

Also credit to the Young Boys fans, they were singing all night.
