After a sloppy start, during which we deservedly went behind, our boys showed bottle and a lot of class to win us the game. VDV looks some player and, looking at the fact that our CB situation is so bad right now that our midfield ended up weakened as well, credit must go to the manager for finding as effective a solution as possible.

I can't believe that after the patchy start to the season we've had we sit, 7 games in, level on points with the Arse and just 2 points behind Man Yoo.

It truly is a funny old game.

Can't help but think what should have been with the points dropped going in our favour instead of dropping them - but we have to be fairly happy with where we sit.

8 goals from 7 games is not quite good enough though, if we can kick that up a notch I think we're in for another roller-coaster season - who knows where it'll take us this time?
