But he has to do well enough, in the interim, with what he's got.

Thats a pretty important point.
When our best players are playing, we look decent, put four past quite a few, we have to suck a season like this up to get to better times.

It's just not the case. We beat City 4-0 without Romero and VdV and we have looked god awful in games where we have been full strength. This is how it's been all season great one game shit the next and the personnel available has not been the reason for it. The players out currently is just the latest in a long line of excuses being used in an attempt to make sense of our senseless form.

Don't get me wrong we have a shitty injury list right now which I do acknowledge. It's just not the reason we are where we are form wise though, as this good one week shit the next has been going on for ages.

He still paid him so it’s valid.
I’m no Levy lover, but no I don’t think it’s very valid, as Levy was pretty much looking to move on from George from very early on and did to Glenn Hoddle.

The manager has been very clear that he’s rebuilding the playing staff and it’s going to take him and the recruitment team 4/5 windows to do that.

He’s only in his second season, it’s probably going to take three or four seasons to be challenging consistently at the top of the table. With the injuries we’re carrying, I can’t see what all the fuss is about.
Something gives me the feeling you go shopping with the wife, as opposed to parting with thousands to watch and "stay patient" year after year... a quarter of a fkin century under this bloke...

Sugar employed him, keep up!
He won us a trophy with an awful team.
This sums up Social Media and the pervasive negativity and immediate jump to belittle at every chance. Whether that be to make up for one’s own inadequacy or just to be petty for pettiness sake.

There is no need to write a sentence like that telling me to keep up. Ok, so i made a mistake, if you never have then more power to you for living a life of perfection in a world of nothing but imperfection.

It’s SpursCommunity not “X”.

Exactly, Levy fired him over some nonsense reason like disclosing financial information. Which in itself was an early warning sign, as he sacked a bloke who had delivered a trophy and just got us to an FA Cup semi final, in favour of someone who he thought would be better for the share prices.

Fair enough it was Glenn, but he then only provided him with a squad of mostly over the hill bargains like Teddy, Redknapp and Oyvind fucking Leonhardsen.

Levy isn’t going anywhere, you know that, I like this manager and the way he has us set to play, we’re 7 points off the top four and still in all the cups.

This new manager and sporting director are in the process of revolutionising the squad, Ange has ok’d the release of 17 first team players in two windows, let him get on with it.

The City game people are basing on the scoreline putting as as if we dominated and City are in the worst run of form under Pep, probably the worst run of his senior career.

Not calling for his head but I’d take McKenna happily and I’m sure he would take us happily sue to the N Irish connection to the club.

We don’t have many good players, in some cases, we only have one first team player per position, we have one of the weakest squads in the league.

This manager and new sporting director are in the process of making us better and I think it’s going to take a season or two, this one probably being the worst, let them get on with it.

If you think changing the manager is going to make this team better, you’re wrong.

It's always going to take another season or two. That's what it's been for the past 20+ years. A never ending 5 year project and during that time there have been managers come in that have made things better and worse.

You are sure I'm wrong, fine. Looks like my crystal ball isn't as good as yours, that's why I base my judgement on what's happened in the past, actual facts, and not on what hasn't yet happened(and realistically probably never will).

Define *many* and *good*? Fans flop/flop a lot. We have great players when we win and they are bad when we loose.

Good players
Vicario
Porro
Van der Ven
Udogie
Romero
Son
Maddison
Sarr
Johnson
Solanke

That’s it for a premiership club with aspirations of winning something and people think the manager is the problem.

One of the reasons the endless cycle never ends is because no manager ever gets the chance to finish what they started.
