It would be stupid to not have him on the list but I still don't see anything happening before the summer. Ange should get that at least.

Grim. Would last 5 mins.
Exactly, the game is up.

We would have had multiple highly successful managers who have won trophies at other clubs but fail at ours.

One would be foolish to believe the reason we fail is because of the manager.

If Ange fails it's time for Levy to go. He can hold his head up on the great job he has done with the stadium but he is has failed miserably on the football side of things and our lack of trophies is testament to this

Ange Postecoglou (soon enough)

Antonio Conte

Nuno Espirito Santo

Jose Mourinho

Mauricio Pochettino

Tim Sherwood

Andre Villa-Boas

Harry Redknapp

Juande Ramos

Martin Jol

Jaques Santini

Glenn Hoddle

George Graham

It really isn't the managers boys.

It's time for Levy to either accept or be made to accept that his time is up.

He has done plenty of great stuff for TH PLC during his time but THFC has never been his priority. Yet, the football club should have been his reason to get out of bed every single day of his 25 years in charge of OUR club. Levy can no longer be allowed to keep burning through managers and escape the blame himself. He needs to feel some heat from the fanbase this time to expedite his exit.

It’s hard to sack the part owner of the actual club, the board could force his hand but unless things go really bad he has such good wowed to fall back o.

Agree he is the one we need to get rid of though that's not happening so it ends up being the manager.

Here we go again… Our injuries are killing us not the Manager. A few weeks ago we thrashed City and the fans over the moon….fickle Spurs fans to sat the least.

The only constant is Levy.

What I would say is the ones that have failed that have won elsewhere have been the strong philosophy managers, and it s why I was reluctant to accept Ange was the best fit when we brought him in.

A lot of fans focused on the fact he played a more attacking brand of football than Jose or Conte and that made him different.... It didn't! For me he was still very similar in approach to the other two serial winners,in that he needed specific types to make it work just like Jose and Conte, and our board have a long and well documented history of prioritising other criteria than 'best fit for the manager' when it comes to buying players.

As long as Enic are pulling the strings we need a coach that will look at what he has and say... "What can I do to get the best out of this bunch?"

My opinion is it will never work with Ange or any manager who believes his tactics are more important and superior than the ability of the players as long as Levy is controlling the purse strings.

It's always destined to fail.

I think you’ve been very consistent with that from the start and I have to agree.

Sure -- but what are some examples of "non-philosophy" managers? I.e., what managers do you have in mind when you're thinking of managers for whom tactics are less important or secondary to the ability of the players? Or the abilities of the players are more important than tactics...

Thing is mate some folks read my posts and think I'm anti Ange and I'm not. I've heard this throughout this whole saga, with posters saying I have some sort of agenda against the man.

What I am against, is the Enic/Ange combination, and that is a very different thing. I would have loved him to succeed but that is not on the cards at all imo.
