And the patriots tbfPatriots, but watching the Cowboys suffer brings me immense joy. I don't think you're a true NFL fan unless you love the Cowboys falling apart.
It's like loving watching Leeds fuck up. Some things are just right.

All I read is he backed humongously his coaches. Just had bad recruitment team around him. Mike you o don’t follow NFL. Just what I read
Jerry Jones has a College Football background and it is well known how much he is hands on with the Cowboys. Prior to his purchase of the team, they were fucking great to watch...Staubach, Drew Pearson, Anthony Dorsett, and my personal fave, Golden Richards (how can you fail with a name like that?).
How much he would be involved in a Futbol club...who knows...
He acquired a team known as America's Team...so it's no amazing feat to turn a successful franchise into a more successful franchise. The trouble is, he's done it without Super Bowl wins.
My issue with Jones is, he likes to be a larger than life character. We don't need an owner to be the story in the news constantly. We need a quiet, dedicated owner capable of putting a winning football management team in place. So far, Jones has failed to prove he can do that.
That’s from the 90s and tbh the coach Jimmy Johnson architected that whole dynasty and did what is known as “the trade”, got rid of one of the best running backs of all time for a plethora of picks which he then build that dynasty out of. Once everyone started writing that it was jimmy and Jerry as being the reason for the success Jerry fired him so he could prove it was him. They haven’t won since….I know next to nothing about NFL and agree with pretty much everything you've said. But the web has him down as winning 3 superbowls in 4 seasons?
Assume that's yonks ago though?

Net worth of just over 16 Billion Dollars apparentlyI can’t decide if I am going to instantly love him or hate him yet, so can I ask how much this bozo is worth?
Has he got the money to front this, or are we getting the biggest mortgage ever?
He owns the richest team in the NFL. He has a stadium that dwarfs Spurs stadium in size and cost. He is not moving an NFL team to London and it’s unlikely that the nfl playing a few games in the stadium is of any significant interest to Jones.My question is: Why would he want to invest in Spurs?
Has he invested in other sports or teams?
If not, the only reason I could fathom why he would be interested in investing or buying Spurs is,,,the Stadium and it's ability to host NFL games.
Is he looking towards the future of more NFL involvement in Europe?
If he's only interested in the Stadium, then what kind of investor or owner would he be?

But, he is the kind of owner who likes to make a lot of money - so I would expect him to leverage the stadium in every way possible.
Jones coming in would be another push towards a super league - with greater revenue potential (at least in the short term).
The grass is not always greener
Spurs Spending Between 2019 - 2023
Transfers = £536 Million
Wages = £846 Million
Total = £1.382 Billion
Arsenal Spending Between 2019 - 2023 - Under Arteta
Transfers = £600 Million
Wages = £916 Million
Total = £1.516 Billion
Difference = £134 Million
Arsenal are currently spending £33 Million more per season then us which is roughly what we are paying in interest repayments for the Stadium. There is very little difference between the financial backing a Manager gets at either club.
Spurs Wage Bill for the past 4 Years.
2019/2020 = £181 Million
2020/2021 = £204 Million
2021/2022 = £209 Million
2022/2023 = £251 Million
Arsenal Wage Bill for the last 4 Years.
2019/2020 = 225 Million
2020/2021 = 244 Million
2021/2022 = 212 Million
2022/2023 = 234 Million
Their wage bill dropped significantly in 2021/2022 before they could back Arteta with more expensive signings and then rose up again once they did. Before this they relied on developing young players on low wages and experienced cast offs. They are not pushing the boat out to back Arteta, they are living within their financial means just like we are.
Antonio Conte spent £192 Million here, and I have only included permanent transfers and loan fees for his time here, but what does not get mentioned is that the wage bill rose by £42 Million during his time here and not even Arteta has seen such a significant increase in his time at Arsenal.
Average spend per season, Wages and Transfer fees.
Conte: £443 Million - 2022/2023 Season
Arteta: £379 Million
Yes I did and I also mentioned the difference is the interest payments on the stadium, if we did not have to pay it then where would the money go?You've said they're spending over 30m more per season and then said there is little difference between both clubs.
Arsenal spent 100m on a player. We are never ever in those conversations let alone buying one of them. Until we buy proven quality players we won't be improving quickly and I we very rarely do that. There is 25 years of evidence to back that up.
