Thinking back to those glorious days when we had Lloris in goal, Toby and Verts at centre back, Eriksen, Dembele and Kane in front of them.

We’ve signed some cracking players over the years but then Levy seems to stop bothering and not want us to add just a couple more and push on.

I still can’t get over we won nothing with a world class centre forward like Kane up top, who became so pissed off with our lack of ambition he wanted to leave.

What is the point building world class training facilities and stadium but can’t be bothered to add the players.

We have the money now with the match-day revenue, there is just no excuse and losing Kane was pure negligence on Levy’s part who wasted his later years playing for us with his stupid decisions on the playing side.

The view from lane and Tottenham way podcast are both talking about Levy and his mistakes, how fans are sick of him etc. matt laws piece as well today.
It's great to hear the media on his back again and start to put pressure on. I really hope this carries over into the stadium where the fans chant anti Levy and enic stuff again. Please don't let this momentum stop and sing Anges name to make everyone well aware where we are laying the blame for where we are as a club

and another one!

Donna will be pinging out the takeover stories before the end of the week!

So once again, this thread takes a tangent from a potential takeover... and instead is a home for the Levy Out, Ange Out, and anti-ENIC purple and gold crowd.. or for some general venting.

Don't you lot have your own thread for this?

Ps. Off Topic votes welcome. KMA.
To be fair mate, I think all the ENIC threads have been locked so there really isn't anywhere else to say anything apart from here and the Ange thread.

If you want to have this place all to yourself, feel free to start a new one.

Seems people are wising up at last that it isn’t the manager who is the problem.

Was talking with a friend of mine about Spurs while he was trying to organise the local panto.

'With all this negative press about Daniel, I can't see him being happy', I said.

'Me neither', said he, 'but that still leaves the other six roles for him to try out for'.

I get that it will never be 90%-10% or more. But I cant believe Levy isnt 80% and over. Mind-blowing. But thats football.
Levy has found that sweet spot where he invests enough to keep us around euro spots whilst he can continue unabridged with his asset growth, the latest part the hotel. I mean 25 years with next to nothing trophy wise yet still many support him. It’s been a champion winning formula for him and Invisible Joe, means I can’t see anything changing, if things don’t improve by January he’ll throw some scraps, maybe a new manager and off we go again Ad nauseam.

Perhaps a poll on The Fighting Cock might reach / exceed 80-20, after a particularly bad run of form, because fans can be reactionary and forum polls tend to be quite hyperbolic. However, my perception is that the views of fans on Levy is closer to 60-40.

Soo hypothetically, new owners come in boot Levy from his ivory towers and take control. What's the first job for them in SC's world???

It’s from Twitter, voted by thousands of people. Their poll on there for levy out is 77/23 in favour and much smaller sample size of a hundred or so. However, the reason I posted it initially was to illustrate how now people aren’t blaming the manager, they see who really is ultimately at fault. Usually it’s the manager that’s blamed, but not any more.

I haven’t met a single spurs fan in the last two or three years who’d be sad to see him and ENIC go. That’s people in person, not online.

I think the last one got locked because when the Levyout gang were quiet, the BSoDL came in and took the piss and likewise the other way around. It all got very abusive so fuck that, lock it.

If someone wants to start another thread and people can refrain from ****ing eachother off, then crack on.

Yeah, there's no hope of that in the current climate.

I've swayed from side to side with Levy before, but I've now given up any hope that he's going to do what he pretends he will and for that reason, I'm going even harder behind Ange because the cycle has to end somewhere.

We should've backed Jol, H, Poch, Jose, Conte and now Ange.
As it was, we all blamed the manager eventually and ended up wanting them out (to one degree or another).

There's one constant all of this time and if even the most die hard BSoDL can't accept that...they never will.
(And I say that as a former BSoDL myself).

I don't think including Jol and Harry there is right, the finances of the club were very different then (for Jol especially), even in the infamous Saha/Nelsen window there were extenuating circumstances with Harry & England.

I do think you should have included AVB though, the guy who really needed one extra attainable piece who got sold short.

Shows what a toxic shit hole Twitter has become where a footy journalist has to limit who can reply to their posts 🙄

Oh and he's bang on, our owner doesn't give a shite about winning.

Bit unrelated, but I recently made the decision to step away from Twitter/X and honestly it’s one of the best bits of self-care I’ve done in recent years.

The club didn't back Ange in the way required this summer. I'm still in doubt whether that's cause they couldn't find the right targets considering its a new set up or because the club do what they always do.

But even if it was the latter it really is a case of "boy cried wolf" because even if Levy makes a good call or decision for the club, he will always be one bad run of form away from taking the blame. He could sanction a 200m spurge on good players and if it fails, he will take the flack.

That's because of all the years of him doing the opposite.

It's frankly time for him to walk away. The only way it gets better for him is if we win a PL or CL title which ain't happening under his watch.
