Told Poch not to start Kane? Have I misread that?It was just the attitude he was referring to. Got to the final, we’ve made it .
Could have told him not to start Kane.

So you’d like Levy to be picking the first eleven now?It was just the attitude he was referring to. Got to the final, we’ve made it .

I was responding to the post about it being wages holding us back. My point being how did a team that was in a relegation fight suddenly ( and it was sudden - look at the form table from when Emery took over) become top 4? What players did Emery buy in Janaury 23 or summer 24 that we could not afford (fees and wages)?
If Poch actually said that then he is talking absolute waffle.Poch has said previously that when we got to the Champ Lge final the board celebrated as if they had won it. To get to the final was all they wanted ,rather than pushing on and winning it .
Poch didn’t help by playing an injured Kane and saying he would leave if we one. Not sure the walking on hot coals helped either. It isn’t always about what players you sign or how much you pay in wages.
The fact Emery turned that side around so quickly just goes to show that they were performing far far below their true potential.

The board would have zero impact on the team or squad between the semi final and the final (they couldn’t exactly buy anybody to strengthen the team could they?)
Also - if they are only about the money, then they would have 100% been bothered about us winning or losing given the prize money and potential benefits.
Of course they celebrated - we all did. It doesn’t mean they didn’t care about winning it or not. Even if for different reasons.
And he clearly forgot to put lemons under Sissoko’s pillow the night before.Poch didn’t help by playing an injured Kane and saying he would leave if we one. Not sure the walking on hot coals helped either.
Hello darkness, my old friend....Almost time for the next - “When are ENIC selling Spurs” break.
Well it’s about time they sold up and took the profit. They’re not interested in the same things the fans are.Almost time for the next - “When are ENIC selling Spurs” break.
At least it's not Levy trying to buy the club. That would take a lot longer.Constant talk of a takeover, I just don't see one happening. Levy is far too difficult to work with
I wouldn’t pin your hopes on this happening any time soon, or indeed it being the panacea to all of our ills.
It’ll happen when it happens, then we’ll have to wait and see how the new owners play things out.
