Tottenham had a bid turned down by Brentford for Ivan Toney, who has already verbally agreed personal terms with the side,

Sources reveal that while the England international has accepted a wage offer, Spurs’ £40 million bid was rejected by the West London club. Brentford are asking for a fee of £65m but it is understood that an offer of £55m would secure the deal.

55 mil is too much imo. Good to know we’ve agreed terms though. If we could add Eze and Toney to our front line that would make us a lot more threatening

Wasn’t this posted earlier and confirmed as dustbin material?

God, can we please not go for Toney. Dodgy bloke.
Will he be able to keep his nose clean in future? I have no idea, but he'll cop a longer suspension if he gets caught again, which makes him a major risk.

BTW, I just found out that his initials spell 'I BET' (Ivan Benjamin Elijah Toney).
