He is plainly just not very good. I would be pissed off if we signed him.

He could be part of an exchange deal with Monaco, but is not exactly the replacement for Ade I had in mind to say the least. In fairness to him he has not been fit enough to show what he can do, but he hasn't pulled any trees up in the PL as yet. Hopefully we can do a lot better.

He played 75 mins in the league this year before getting injures

Maybe Levy should just appoint himself head coach and call it done. More than any club, I feel we've moved toward the model of the coach should just coach, and not build a team/squad. Many fans have embraced this - we really are the football manager club.

The new manager will come in and the unbalanced and bloated squad will be set in stone, with no input from him, and everyone will ask what's wrong with him when they inevitably miss fire.

Did we sign Sigurdsson and Vertonghen without a manager? What are these players thinking when they sign on for us....any player signing for us now before we appoint a manager needs his head examined.

For sure Levy & co. are going to do all their transfers before they appoint a manager. And the in-coming manager (whoever it is) would of course not mind Levy doing this, right....
