Hopefully he was allowed finish his points and wasn't talked over which is generally what happens on that pod. The hosts are sound and are generally good to listen to but they constantly talk over each other and don't let people finish what they're saying. I can't listen to it anymore
Well, as the host, I accept what you're saying and we've made a real effort to work on this.

It was usually Jake Sanders (yep, throwing him under the bus here!) but he knows about it.

However, what I will say, is that we're all in the same room and that lends itself to debate and pride ourself on that over the more traditional zoom pods.

I hope you go back to listening to us!

Fair enough mate will get back to listening to it. As said the points being made were decent and I know being in a room lends itself to debate but when listening to it, particularly on earphones, it came across more argumentative then it probably was in room.
Good luck with it

David Pleat on first half of VFTL this morning. Definitely worth a listen

meh was hoping it would be more insightful than it was although I’m now really intrigued to know what Mabizela was getting up to whilst over here!

He's talked about it himself and his love of night life. He was very fond of the clubs in London and everything that came with it. Shame cos he was talented but he was 20 years too late to be able to do both

Always appreciate feedback, cheers.

Me and Gary do like to argue... but hope it's more debate than popping at each other!

I really like Rule the Roost but I feel like the guy is absolutely desperate for Maddision to fail which is a bit odd. Otherwise its my go to after a match as released pretty quickly.

The only podcast I listen to is the game is about glory.

It's a great listen. The people on it are articulate and very engaging, imo

Brilliant. Appreciated. We strive for the middle path amidst extreme reactions but equally try to be honest with our emotions.

Yep, but i have to be honest. I generally dont partake in anything spurs related when we lose 😅. Cold turkey.

Its a really good pod though 😊

Thanks again. Yes indeed, defeats are tough but between us, we try to find the balance between emotional and tactical. I will say post-Palace was hard LOL...on a tangent, given what we've said about leadership, I was really happy to see Ange's pre-City presser speaking about the subject. I'm sure it will get mentioned this weekend ;-)

It's tough re: other pods. I generally don't listen myself, simply because I don't want to get swirled by other opinions, etc. There's more than enough in our merry crew :) which keeps things local and (hopefully) a little different. Again, thanks for the kind words.

Is yesterday's VFTL actually listenable or does Danny ruin it by being as overly exasperated as he was during some Conte era pods?

It was very good mate. He was very sedate / sombre on it. They covered a wide range of issues on it so would genuinely recommend it.
Could be my own bias but I think Danny gave up on Ange a good while ago and think when Ange does leave he will talk about it

I have that feeling too. I think Danny is so conflicted because after genuinely hating everything about Conte, which also made the pod a difficult listen at times, he wants to love Ange so much but he just can't believe in him.

Yea he couldn't hide his contempt for conte and to be honest I liked that because that's exactly what I felt at the time. With Ange he has talked since maybe this time last year about how teams will adapt to his tactics etc if you do listen to yesterdays one keep an ear out for a line he says he relation to fixing it, it's genuinely the clearest indication Danny has given that he's exasperated with Ange

Have to say I’ve been a long time listener of LWOS but just can’t cope with the negativity from the likes of Russ Williams, it’s become a bit of a moan fest.

I stopped listening a good while ago. There is only so many times you can listen to the host say "I tell ya " .

I find some people on here can be quite snobbish regarding LWOS , it is just spurs fans offering their take on things , just like all the other pods.
Just like the other pods some guests are a good listen and some are absolute rain clouds/bellends .Each to their own.

I thought Ali was in damage control mode after Ipswich. Looked a bit like a club friendly piece to me.

A grouse re Levy notwithstanding.

Not sure I agree with that to be honest. He was very critical of Levy in his article, more than I remember him being before so club friendly is not what I would describe him as this week

I think it's the fact that they rush to be the first pod out after a match, maybe if they left it to the next morning and let people calm down.
Also I'm not snobish, I just don't enjoy the content.
