Tottenham only have themselves to blame for another predictable Harry Kane injury

Not gonna read it but I have to agree on the run him into the ground part you mention.

Season after season Kane gets injured and the club go on without a recognized striker to enable both rest and injury cover.
City have two out and out strikers, Liverpool two strikers, Chelsea two, Leicester two, even Arse*** have two. The list goes on, it's not rocket science and the club are fully to blame..

You don't have to read the whole article but scroll down the "games completed by prem top scorers" and it tells the story.

Fair enough point with this injury, although hardly certain as he may well still have got an injured, but the last two seasons have been ankle injuries by impact. Whether his form would’ve been better if given rest we will never know.

I did read somewhere that Kane was pisses off that he was omitted from the last CL game, because we had qualified already.

Exactly

And way back in the day

Utd had 4 - all top quality

Maybe unrealistic now but it didn’t do them any harm.

Squad needs some real investment

Feel sorry for Poch, this should have been done two/three years ago
And for the first time in my life, feel sorry for Jose right now. Want aways and injuries have made this a real tough mid season start for him.

this is partially right. However, and this will make some feel uncomfortable, Kane/Poch/Southgate are all to blame here.
Kane - it is well understood, wants to play every minute of every game (very much like Messi and Ronaldo to a lesser degree).
Poch and Southgate have indulged their star player by not substituting him or rotating him.
Red nose would not have done the same but unfortunately neither Poch nor Southgate were/are willing to take a stand.
And to a degree you can't blame them, look at the pre-sacking itk around Poch. Though never officially named, we could all work out the player the ITK's were referencing who essentially gave Levy a me or Poch ultimatum. Only Levy knows how much player power influenced the sacking.

So hopefully Kane will be more open to rotation for club and country and both Jose and Southgate will learn from this.

Spurs are to blame but so is Southgate who never rests Kane. Always rests the Liverpool players though.

Hardest Christmas schedule in Europe and we have a manager saying in advance of it that Kane will play every minute of it. He's been running harder since Mourinho took over so that extra strain should be acknowledged in advance. Have to agree coaching/management teams to blame

We've covered Kane before with Son and Moura but as soon as Kane's fit we never revert back to that tactic....its very strange.

Getting a new striker to cover Kane I'm not really sure about that. Man City barely seem to make it work. Arsenal have two strikers and for me can't make it work..then you looking around other top teams they all seem to have one main striker at the club with Auxiliary players to cover.

We should be looking for a left footed wing forward centime to us Son and Moura maybe Alli as a false No.9 and use the money to sort the CB and Wingbacks

If it's the same article I remember it was completely deduced by the journalist.
