Playing Bayern will be special, no doubt.

Made better by the current Bayern team being the weakest in decades. Just watch the German Super Cup (their charity shield) vs Borussia Dortmund to see what I mean.

Borussia benched most of their new signings, Bayern had lost Hummels, Ribéry, Robben... Borussia demolished them.

I suspect Bayern could be 2nd or 3rd in the Bundesliga this year, or worse... This is the only thing which could make them a more dangerous opponent in my view. That they might raise their game for a few big games, like playing us!

In Germany they are widely disliked in a similar way to Man U or Chelsea. They play arrogant football and are known by many colorful nicknames which I won’t repeat.

Best “big club” we could have drawn!

Think I’ve just about convinced my mate to go to Belgrade with me. He’s not a member but I was thinking he could take my brother season ticket. Now I’m assuming this will go on general sale (so my conscience is clean).

Are they checking I.d’s for every European away game now?

They lost 2 0 and by all reports the Liverpool fans were pretty quiet under the intimidation from the Ultras one scouser even commented " Compared to this Anfield is like a funeral parlour "

I remember watching the game (probably up to around 70 mins) on the train to our PSV game, and got the impression Liverpool expected to rock up and walk away with 3 points. They lost because they got complacent.

Go in with the right attitude and I'm sure we can get a result.

I remember going to watch Spurs v Bayern in the 83/84 season. Won 2-0, (2-1 on aggregate) Archibald and Falco scored the goals. Happy days!

so do I, I also remember being in Chase Farm hospital after an accident that night that should of cost me my life twice. 1st one was the accident the 2nd, my Oldman wanted to throttle me for calling him to pick me up at 1am as I was skint

After the first leg I think it was their captain, Paul Breitner, who wrote us off saying 1-0 was enough. The second leg was a cracking game, one of the best European nights I've had at the lane. Absolutely brilliant.

I missed the 2nd best, the final:cry:

although the one thing about the old WHL is the atmosphere on a midweek match was usually the best time to be there. I remember my dad not allowing me to go to the Feynoord 1st leg final 74. I lived a mile away and could here the noise from my bedroom

Many going Olympiacos?

We’re gonna do Belgrade. Fuck it, I’m sure it’ll be fine...:nailbiting:
me and my boy going olympiacos - he will be ill off school next week.
when we scored away at Dortmund last season, BT sport filmed him celebrating - all his school mates pinged him saying we seen you:X3:
