A really nice article to read. It’s always nice to read about the inspiration behind certain kits as opposed to just having bullshit Nike templates...

That kit will always be Lucas in Amsterdam, but with Sonny against city and even the opening day against Newcastle, it’s one that I think people will remember for a long time.

Nice homage to the N17 area too, and the heritage of the club.

A good read in shitty times, stay safe guys, COYS!

Will always love Lucas for that to be honest but I have so many mixed emotions regarding that match. Saw the Instagram video of Lucas going through each of the three goals and it made me happy to see the events unfold again but also made me sad for him knowing that after that he was dropped for the final. Plus of course, the fact that we went on to lose the final. I don't always enjoy seeing clips of that match for that reason but there are times when I can enjoy that match for just what it was and not with the thoughts of us falling short afterwards.

It sounds weird but I also associate that kit with us struggling ?

I always like to pay attention to the kits and stuff so is cool to read and article that focuses on one of them! I did read that Peter Crouch's least favourite kit he wore was a Spurs one which made me laugh.

I still believe we should have insisted to wear it in the final...After City & Ajax, could have ben 3rd time lucky and all that! oh and starting Lucas from the off.
