Postecoglou’s departure has angered a number of Tottenham players, with sources claiming some want to leave the club and that the Australian’s successor will face a huge task to repair the dressing-room damage.

The players need to remember that they were all pointing to the badge at the final whistle, not the manager.

I get that they liked the bloke, I did too but it's the club I love and it's the club that they play for.

And the media needs to shut the fuck up for once!

Expect much more of this from the Spurs hating media all summer. Also- maybe if the players loved Ange so much they should’ve won a few more league games…

haha, too late. the time to show fight and solidarity with the manager was when he was the manager and following his instructions leads to success. Losing every week and finishing 17th is not that. So by all means, show some fight now after you've screwed him over and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I doubt it. There have been thankful messages on social media, but that’s about it. Their loyalty will sit with the issuer of their pay cheques

And the media backlash starts.
Even when they were the first to start it all off.
Let’s be real here, there have been rumblings from fans since the kick off of the season. Not a fan of the media at all but let’s keep it realistic.

I believe the fanbase, those who have actually watched so many poor performances and disappointing defeats last season, were generally saying Ange should be sacked, but of course the memorable cup win made some say give Ange more time.

The media were unhappy that the no trophy stick they regularly liked to hit Spurs with was removed, despite Spurs being the 6th most successful English club in terms of trophies (happily overlooking the financial corruption of City and Chelsea allowing them to jump above Spurs), and there being many more clubs worthy of challenge about the lack of success (Newcastle being the obvious example up to recently). The biased cretins in the media, largely dominated with rose tinted idiots who have a clear affliation or passion towards Liverpool, United or Arsenal, are very keen to return Spurs back to position of banter club asap. The fact that Ange started to call them out was getting under their skin, something most of us wanted to happen for ages, but of course they are now happy to ridicule a harsh but probably correct decision by the club.

Levy is still a problem of course. Building the club infrastructure with secure finances is a great achievement. Football decisions and a rigid wage structure is not so great. Changes are happening at board level, we all need to see has these end up and if they make a difference in the coming years.

The debate is over. Whether we agree or not, whatever we think of Daniel Levy, the club is our passion so let's get behind the new manager and team next season. It will only feed the haters if we are unable to unify our support.

Perhaps they should hold themselves a bit more accountable.

If the players were behind Ange, they should have shown it throughout the season.

Not just 90mins in Bilbao.

The same media who were predicting Ange was going to be sacked and writing about how shit we were for most of the season are in no position to be criticising the decision.
