Tottenham Hotspur are desperate for their shock signing of Min-hyuk Yang to pay off and there is hope that he will prove to be one of the north Londoners' best pieces of summer business as he prepares to head to Hotspur Way from Gangwon at the turn of the year.

Why was this a shock signing?

Because so many media platforms are convinced that the use of exaggerated, colourful and strong words make them more popular?

Or that journalism is dead?
And are also convinced that it must be a random, nonsensical signing with no prior scouting or negotiations, as they hadn't made up or regurgitated a rumour about it in advance of the announcement.

Social media has killed it. Too much competition has created a desperation for clicks and there is a lack of quality control. It's sad that so many sites are content to post headlines that bear little or no resemblance to the actual content just for the sake of clicks.

We had a few shock signings from Asia and I was desperate for them to pay off. Toda and Kevin Qu Bo especially. The website itself sounds more desperate tbh.. (give me sport)
