Tottenham have blocked all first-team transfer talk until after the Champions League Final on June 1.

The domestic summer transfer window officially opens tomorrow and Spurs are willing to listen to offers for a number of players, including Kieran Trippier, who is a target for Napoli.

In one sense, sure. But I don't see any reason why Levy and the other higher-ups couldn't be getting some stuff done early. The other big clubs will certainly be starting their engines.

I'd be very surprised if we haven't already got LOTS of irons in many fires right now!
Win or lose on June 1st other teams are not going to wait and we can't afford to either.
Things might not be announced, but I feel lots is happening behind closed doors!

Surely you realise that stuff will be happening behind the scenes they just don’t want to discuss anything in press conferences before the final that could distract the players

Surely you realise I couldn't try harder to make it obvious I'm taking the piss?

Because other clubs will want to start discussions with the player right away to make sure they even want to come.

Didn't realize it was only about outgoings. Didn't want to give ES traffic.

The squad is thin on the ground as it is. We need bodies in the CL Final!

That line by Jose at the end of the article.....

Very cutting, but true.

...as good as Klopp and Poch have done with their teams, one of them will still be trophyless on June 2.

I wish we would.
Go stone cold turkey
until then
to break the habit
and then wait for the
cardboard cut-out announcements.

if any
