Personally I would have left out Lloris and Sissoko to keep them fresh for the League.

Lloris probably wouldnt play more than 2-3 games at the group stages and Hart and Gazzaniga could have competed and kept themselves match fit and give good competition to eachother. Would also rather use Gedson for the Europa League games over Sissoko as he cant play that reguarly given his age and recent injuries.

Now both Gazzaniga and Gedson are completely out of the cold altogether barring injuries.

just means they have to work extra harder to get into the first team, Jose normally sets challenges for his players and they need to respond accordingly.

Issue with Rodon and Europa is simply that the squad is now set until January.

but don’t really think that matters as this is obviously one for the future. Great that he will ultimately count as HG.

Complete waste of money that deal. Can't see how our new managers first signing has gone from being a big promise to not even getting into our squad.

Since I first saw him play I've long been suspicious of the deal as it includes our new go to man and Mourinhos mate Mendes on all fronts again. And this kind of decision doesn't do much to stop that.

There is no homegrown quota. Wish that was in the banner at the top of the site.

There is a max # of non-HG spots and a max number of overall spots (non-youth).

You could have zero homegrown players if you wanted. You just wouldn’t be able to register more than 17 non-HG players.

CCV leaving has zero impact, unless we need room for another HG player in the overall 25.

Sorry to confuse but the Graphic Mean the rule specified to
Non HG shall be 17 Maximum
While HG shall be 8 Minimum
The Total Players who born before 1 Jan 1999 shall be 25 players Max

In premier ATM we have 16 Non HG & 9 HG that stilled compiled the rules

For Europa

List A Player shall be 17 Maximum
For CT + AT Players shall be 8 Minimum
But at least 4 from 8 CT/AT Players shall be CTs quota

So ATM we have 5 CTs and 3 ATs that also compiled the rules

Whiteman is HG that correct, The Graphic mean 8 HG minimum now we have 9 as I explained in above post

I think he has promise. The problem with the deal is it was a loan. If it was a permanent move, i think he’d have been loaned out this season. His development has been severely hindered, IMO. He needs to play. We should have either made the move permanent for cheaper and sent him out on loan this window or cancelled the loan. Now he’d have lost 18 months of development once this season is done.

He still be count HG quota in Premier but not count AT in Europa same as Davies

Before he signed I thought same as you but when we announced the squad surely he not count to be AT (If he count surely we will fill in Gedson in non CT/AT quota and move him to AT instead of JC or CCV)

I guess that because he was loaned out to Hibernian between age 18-21 and Uefa not count that time to fulfilled AT quota but premier accept that
