usually at the end of season the "what ifs" are what cost us a place in the top 4, this season those "what ifs", would be the title.

all those worrying about burn out, how the fuck will we cope with CL next season, when we will need to play our strongest team in those 2 comps, not just the 1 we have been so far

I don't think I fully understand this?

most probably the meds I'm on

if we miss out on the title this season, all those draws could be what cost us

on the rotating of players and players burning out, running out of steam that might even cost us top 4, how we going to cope with 2 comps next season without burn out? the 4 we have been playing this season, we have only fielded our strongest 11 in the EPL

Meds! I had forgotten something.

I agree, we are not winning the PL this season due to the many draws. Next season, I can't even worry about at this point.

Nearly the perfect weekend - thanks Norwich lol,

Great weekend though and if we win our next two games we're going to be in one hell of a position given our rivals play one another - and others have some tough games.

Looking at the fixtures though, its the West Ham away and Arsenal at home fixtures, back to back, that could well have a huge bearing on things.

I think if we have a solid February - that includes beating City - then we're in a great position to nail top 4 come May.

Anything beyond that...well, we'll have to see.

Which is why next month is so important.

I think if we go to city and win we are not only title contenders but maybe even favourites

unless we spit the bit we should finish comfortably in the top 4. my only question is can Leicester? Its absolutely amazing to me that they are top of the league after 23 games. I keep thinking reality will catch up but its starting to look like they will finish in the top 4.

I think if we drew at City and beat Arsenal at the Lane we'd find ourselves in an incredible position come March.

Big if mind. Back to concentrating on winning the next two. Vital we do that.

If the long awaited Leic slip up materialises, then winning the title is in our hands. Statistically!

cant predict in this league that you will win the other games though. I'd be just as confidant city away as I will be Watford at home

I was going to say the same thing

A couple more wins and we could be facing City to go top. Leicester have Liverpool, City and Arsenal in their next three games so even if they win them we could be looking at second place in February. We'll have to beat Norwich and Watford though which is easier said than done.

We have to be trying to win the league. And that's the end of it really. We can win it. No doubt. But no more of this let's aim for top four nonsense. If we don't win and get champs league then fine that's great. But I hope Poch has it fully in these guys heads that if they want the league they can have it.

Probably regret this , but think we will be top of the pile by end of February, not saying we will stay there
