Made a difference against Everton.

Just turned this game on its head.

Doesn't run down blind alleys.

Credit where credits due!!!!

You can't have a football team that can't play football.

Despite his shortcomings, Huddlestone can play.

always said parker is a hinderance to how we CAN, AND SHOULD play.

4-3-3, no parker, 3 FOOTBALLERS in midfield = SUCCESS.

fucking brilliant....great subs, great change to the shape. Thought Huddlestone was fantastic and I want him back in the side in that set up for the rest of the season, instantly we looked much more progressive in possession - what a fecking difference it made.

4-3-3 with Hudd in there is the way we should go, as much as Parker is great off the ball he just slows us up so much.

I have given him a lot of stick but he has come on the last few games and done well, slotted right into a role and made impact. A three in the centre seems to give him a bit more protection as well, with others to do the running for him. It looked a nice balance.

He played well, his composure and forward thinking helped.

City's loss for not pressing him.

Totally agree, the 4-3-3 is made for him with two others doing the majority of the leg work. Looked a lovely balance. We saw 70 minutes of dog shit before AVB made the changes and then all of a sudden we started passing the ball forward with some bloody purpose.

Always said, you can look at stats all day but Huddlestone's passing was fantastic what a difference it made to our control of the football when moving forward.

Hudd is is under-rated by our own fans - i can't believe what i hear most of the time. We all know he's not perfect or the most dynamic, but this guy can paly and help the team tick. This guy is a passer and showed it as soon as he came on.
we attack with more fluency and move the ball so much quicker.

Thought holtby was an important substitution too - another player who passes 1 and 2 touch.
With Holtby and Hudd we attacked quicker and gave our attacking players (including Dembele) so much more time and space to attack.

I've been very impressed with his appearances since his return from injury. I'd personally written him off and thought he was too slow but I'm glad he's shown me I was wrong and the team that finished the match should be our team for the rest of the season. Give Lennon the time he needs to get back 100%.

For whatever reason, Hudd's got his game back since he's got back in the match squad recently.
We really should retain him.
At his best he was part of the team that did qualify for the CL.

LOVE THE THUDD

Has looked excellent last two games. Should finish the season ahead of Parker for me.

He's done well in the past couple of games but he needs to keep it up, if he wants a future with us. Just playing well for a handful of games during the season isn't good enough.

I wanted to make this thread. :(

Fuck Parker, he's shit these days. This man was excellent when he came on. He and Holtby came on at the same time and suddenly we could pass the ball. So much better!

Don't know how many debates I've had on here regarding Hudd - so bloody many, but if there was ever an example of what I've been trying to argue all a long regarding his strengths it was today.
