I am a member so I bought a ticket for me and a guest ticket to my dad. I live in Sweden so I have not received the tickets yet. Do you think you can go to the ticket office on the match day with ID action, membership card and booking confirmation so you get out the tickets or how does it work with guest tickets?
I believe your guest ticket is loaded onto your stadium card.

A friend rang the ticket office yesterday and was told that for this game, we didn't have Brent council's permission to go above 70,000, but for all the other games we did. So unless something has magically changed today, we won't be able to open up the top tier.
Not sure that's correct.Pretty sure club would have made announcement if that was the case.Pretty sure this 70k figure comes from Just amount of tickets they are physical able to sell because of general sale rule.we prob have something like 100k members and due to holidays etc people are expecting roughly 70k to take up.But just looked at available unless showing blocked off as sold out I'd reckon at most there's 10 k left.

That's a kick in the fucking teeth seeing as I've bought a season ticket up there with a few thousand others.

Just reporting what he said. I'd love the place to be full!

Obviously season tickets are ok!
But there must be something connected to tickets only being sold to people who had registered before July 1st.

It was reported on Sky that in order to prevent Chelsea fans buying tickets in the home end, GA tickets were being restricted to fans that had had some provable interaction with Tottenham Hotspur – Members, purchases made at the Club Shop (online or in person), etc.

They reported that there are no restrictions on numbers, per se, but that there may be a number of empty seats because of the above ruling.

Yup pretty sure this is the case.As said if a 70k limit had been set,the club would have made an announcement to offset embarrassment of empty seats on tv.

Considering the restrictions on buying tickets, time of year etc.. that's pretty impressive we're selling out again. We are going to have no issues filling that new stadium providing we stay consistent on the pitch.

Looks virtually sold out now.

Yep, bought tickets for me and my brother yesterday. I'd bought Champions league tickets last year, so was on their database before 1st July.

There were very few new tickets available, all singles dotted around the upper tier... maybe 100-200 at most.

There were another 1,000-2,000 (at most) via TicketExchange seats (selling for about 20% above face value).

Wait the exchange allows people to set a value? That's bullshit.

No the club/ticket master charge an admin fee of £7.50

Sorry hope I haven't mislead anyone. If sold the seller gets 1/19 of the price of their ST, and if the club re-sell the ticket they charge according to category (a,b c ) and add the admin on top!
At least that's my understanding!

The club publicised quite clearly that only those who have been registered with the club and with a client reference before July 1st 2017 could buy tickets.
This is due to the potential risk of Chavski fans to buy tickets in the spurs end.
Which they did against WBA last season when they (shudders) won the title.
