So happy for him! It's such a huge opportunity.

I hope that he absolutely nails it there and answers a lot of the unwarranted criticisms he's faced from our own fanbase.

Smash it Mase 💕

I am delighted for him. I think West Brom is tough gig as Corberan, their manager until Jan, had them overachieving really/ I am not sure what their fans would deems a good season, but from the outside I don't think they'll make playoffs.

I am really interested to see how he decides to play. He always seemed close to Poch

Should present a good opportunity for some of our player to go on loan - I wonder if Lankshear will stay?

Good luck to him. Hope he does well and maybe just maybe might manage us again in the future.

I've never understood why some of our fanbase take a disliking to him or are pretty negative toward him.

I for one hope he goes there, grows as a coach and leader and shows that he had the ability to be an elite coach.

A genuine good guy and one of our own.

I've never disliked him, only things I've said at various stages is at some point he needs to go and do it himself, only negative I've said is I believe Ange should go as well as a lot of of the coaching staff as they all share collective responsibility for our terrible league form (unless Ange wasn't listening to his coaches)

I hope Ryan goes there and implements everything he's learned from a lot of great coaches and managers plus Ange, he's been assistant to quite a lot of experienced heads many young coaches could only wish for.
I'm intrigued what his style of football will be, hopefully a few good youngsters sent his way for meaningful minutes, I just hope he gets given time and I don't know if he'll get it there.

W.B.A; No Sleep 'till Droitwich, have always been a yo-yo club to me and other than Tony Mowbray I can't recall many managers being given large amounts of time so I hope he gets that. Did big Martin Jol manage them or just play for them?

I'm not saying that Mason used to spend time on SC or anything, but rumour has it that, upon being asked why he had picked Nigel as his assistant, Mason replied 'You gotta trust ol' Gibbsy'.
Couldn’t agree more and knowing him from his days at Watford he’ll be a great no2 to guide Mason through.
Very astute appointment and good luck to the pair of them.

Probably going to be more nervous checking the WBA scores next season than watching our games.

Hope he smashes it.

Love this for him and hope he smashes it! Big opportunity.

I've got a lot of love for Mason. His fantastic strike against Forest in the League Cup in 2014 was, more than any other moment, when I knew I loved this club. As I remember it, it had been a dreary game up to that point, and it was a hell of a goal out of nothing late in the game. It also is the moment that signifies, to me, the real lift-off of the Poch years with his turning to youth and the new guard to get us playing energetic and attacking football.

It is a great appointment, what him and noel hunt did at Reading is nothing short of a miracle in fairness.
