I'm guessing it was due to him alluding to having transfer knowledge when he wasn't willing to provide Rob, A&C, or any other mod any info about his source.

I would doubt it. I understood that he could post what he hears but it wouldn't go into the RO unless it was verified (ie he disclosed his source). I don't think his posting info is/was frowned upon per se.

I remember a time when we had no ITK and we were perfectly happy. It's all you castoffs from COYS that seem to think its important. Most of us just find it a bit of fun and PM about it in a way that is completely contradictory to the way we speak of it in the open forums.

This is all from memory but as you all know, Spurvert refused to give us details about his source. At that time we asked him not to post his ITK in the Daily Discussion Thread but he continued to do so, IIRC he was warned more than once. Eventually he lost his access to the ITK Forums for it.
After a while he asked if he could have his access restored which we agreed to do providing he stuck to not posting his stuff in the Daily Discussion Thread. He kept to that until last night, so he lost his access again. He has not been banned.

No, Shanks isn't banned. Shanks went off on one and broke the golden rule, so he lost access to the ITK Forums for a while. He'll have his access restored fairly soon.

There is definitely a massive gap in itk compared to previous windows... not even established itk'ers seem to be posting... Guess a lot of it is due to the management change... hopefully we wil have a new set for the next windows...
