IMO it would be Paulinho playing the anchor with Dembele/Holtby if Sandro was injured, he is currently sitting deeper for Brazil in the Confed Cup..

Not quite sure why people think spending £17 million is not leaving us enough for Striker/Wide Forward, ITK has consistently stated and linked us too offers coming in for Livermore and Hudd, net spend on Paulinho transfer would be about £6 million.. thats my onion on it all..

Morning all. Great start daughter decided to stub her toe at 7 so been sitting at the hospital whilst she has her toenail removed. Happy weekend!!!

Anyway surely Brazil are not going to let any player leave the squad for a medical until after the confederation has finished? Therefore we wouldn't be announcing anything till July?
Maybe our club dr hasn't left brazil yet

Nice to know AVB's a cheap fucker, just like the rest of us. Bet he didn't even pay for priority boarding.

I can confirm AVB does indeed fly Ryanair. I saw him boarding a flight to Portugal after the Norwich match last season. At that point I don't think many wanted to come back on it!

It's not so much ITK, but in the absence of anything else.. a freelance journo on social media just posted that Graham Carr has applied for a scouting role at Spurs. Then clarified 'applied' and 'wants' the job as the head scout role is not filled yet but Baldini is likely to have a say.

I thought he'd been persuaded to stay, I'm sure it was news on Talksport a couple of days ago.

While Parker on the face of it would seem decent back up to Sandro, the other point to consider is that this summer is probably the last chance we'll get at recouping a decent amount for him. I think Levy will allow him to go for 4 or 5m which someone will pay despite his age - whether Parker will want to leave is another issue

No one will pay 4 - 5m for a 32 yr old!

and? you can still leave a job. Especially with all the crap up there right now, why would you want to stay.

The journo's name is Paul Taylor, @ptjourno if you want to see.

imagine palace signing parker, or even villa (amongst their youngsters) there are a number of clubs that spending that 4-5 mil on a player like parker for 2-3 years of experience, fight, model pro ect ect that could be Vital in their fight to stay in the league. 4-5 mil is not an unrealistic price for the lad!!
