sorry about that teaser, i thought ftl was open to anyone but it seems signups are closed at the moment. it wasnt really relevant anyway, just a bit of insight regarding past dealings with swansea - and had nothing to do with potential future business
I'd hazard a guess it's Brads brother, do any other nationalities call their kids Clint other than Americans? If the info's not current though, not bothered. The info will get here from FTL eventually.theres some itk on ftl from clint (some of you might remember who his brother is) but he ends the message with
'Please do not share this info on anothrr board or twitter'
so i wont pass it on
tough louck for u non-ftl'ers
but its not related to anything interesting (say bony) but about things from the past
So let him stay. If he is happy to be way downMy uncle who is a Spurs fan came over for drinks last night, he said to me Dawson is due a testimonial if he sticks around another season, these make millions so if my uncle is right no way will we shift him

Proceeds from testimonials are almost always donated to charity now, they aren't a retirement fund like they used to be. And 10 years isn't a guarantee of a testimonial anymore anyway. My uncle who is a Spurs fan came over for drinks last night, he said to me Dawson is due a testimonial if he sticks around another season, these make millions so if my uncle is right no way will we shift him
He's due testimonial in January I think and as ButchCassidy says above most proceeds are now donated to charity. Don't think he's trying to stay for the money. Dawson is hanging on because he knows the only way is down after such a long spell with us. The last time he did this under AVB it worked out for him and he got back in the side as captain. I would guess he's arguing with himself as to whether he could do this again or if it's time for a new challenge. He knows he doesn't need to rush such a big decision. My uncle who is a Spurs fan came over for drinks last night, he said to me Dawson is due a testimonial if he sticks around another season, these make millions so if my uncle is right no way will we shift him

IIRC his brother is Hew Jenkins (or someone else high up at Swansea)Who's his brother?
Who's he?
BAE tweeted a photo from inside WHL as well... Remember him?
Never was with Levy! He promised one to Darren Anderton only to never fulfill it. Dazza is still upset about never getting a proper chance to say goodbye to the fans. If Levy refused to give Anderton a testimonial, will he think twice about refusing one for a guy who has refused to move on (and make the wee man a big pot of cash) for years? Will he balls.
So I agree. In the unlikely event Dawson isn't moving because he thinks he'll get a testimonial, he couldn't be more mistaken.
Which, to be fair, even though I'd like to see him upgraded on, is pretty sad.
Kane, Bentaleb, Davies and Dier can all play at will without being named in the squad. So in reality, there is "only" 1 too many. (Ekotto?). I understood "25" to be more of a preference for Pochettino, rather than obliging to rules and regulations.Very clever from Poch in comments after game about being 5 over in squad. These players that are apparently reluctant to go will soon shift when they realise they won't be named in 25 man squad and no chance of playing at all.
Going public with it, will hopefully entice offers.
We'd have been in pretty bad shape without him last season.
Wasn't it about £8-10million...?Maybe it was a crap offer from QPR. Saying Dawson 'refused to move on' makes him sound like some sort of villain. We'd have been in pretty bad shape without him last season.
