Feels like he's been one of the most hyped English youths forever now. I'd say for his age-group he is that good. Obviously there's a big difference between that and being good enough at pro level. Though it would certainly make me very very excited.

Do not doubt @JJetset - He got it right with Bale, he has again got it right with Toby.
Toby or not Toby - that is the question is so apt.
Levy flying to Spain to talk to Athleti also makes sense. It's possible that both clubs could have been going through the clauses & make sure where each stand.
We have committed with Toby 100% - If we do get him, its no question he will be in first XI.
Spurs are all about drama. Levy likes a challenge. If Levy is committed, I have no doubts deal will be over the line.

He said he didn't think it would happen unless "it all blows over", which makes a lot of sense now.

His main ITK was a question. "Toby or not Toby" - in hindsight, like we are pondering over the move - whether to go ahead knowing there may be legal issues or not go ahead. He did say no, but he also said if situation changes, then may be. Last ITK is 'its complicated'.
JJ couldn't give more because of legal complication - so he said for non-commercial reasons, it may not happen.

I don't think it was a joke. He said that line without anyone prompting him or questioning him. It is so apt to the situation we are in.
