He said "most will be very happy." Judging by a wide majority of responses to Damiao, I don't think he fits that statement.

It's funny because normally I'd love to have another big-name signing, but I really like what we have put together and unless it's a LF/Striker type I hope we just address what we need which in my opinion is a legitimate LB.

If we sign a big name in the LW we will be getting rid of imo; Siggy, Lennon and on loan either one of Chadli or Holtby depending on where Eriksen will be used

I agree with you on Siggy and Lennon. I think Siggy, as it stands, is our backup to Chadli on the left. Holtby and Eriksen will be responsible with providing the creativity from midfield this season. People keep stating Eriksen will be on the left but I don't think so. I think he's far better playing central and I love the idea of him playing with Paulinho or Dembele in front of a destroyer like Capoue/Sandro.

Lennon just feels like it's going to happen. I'm not sure how I feel about it given he's our only remaining out-and-out winger but it really looks like AVB wants a full-time inverted winger setup which doesn't suit Lennon at all. And given his age the time might be right to sell Lennon if someone comes along with a good offer. I would love to see him at Fulham as that side is in desperate need of pace.

Chadli and Holtby won't be loaned. We're going to need them even if it's for Europa/Cup matches. But, I expect both will have big roles in the league as well.
