I know A&C is at pains to tell you all to keep it On Topic in here, but I never thought the ITK Transfer Discussion Thread would literally involve the discussion of transferring an ITK.

Because I have had no issues whatsoever since I came across. The general cross section of forum members may be the same, but sounds to me the way the two site's are run and moderated are clearly worlds apart. I have had plenty of advice from the mods here(as was the same on COYS), and also been told that should there be an issue either via PM or through the forum itself the full support of those that matter can very much be counted on.

I don't want backups to Kane. I want someone of equal ability or potential that will push him or at least adequately substitute for him. I understand the 'players won't want to be sub's etc' but if you're either happy being sub or can't handle competition for your place I don't want you at my club.

As I say, though, having watched him, Gayle would be good enough to both push and adequately substitute for Kane. Poch doesn't go generally with 2 strikers, and given how good Kane has shown himself to be, I can't see anyone of equal ability or potential being happy to come in and play second fiddle. And if we do go all out for someone on Kane's level, I don't honestly see any around that we could afford. Not if we're seriously valuing Kane at north of £40m to even pick up the phone.

Look forwards mate, no point in looking back! What will be will be and you can bet your life not everyone on here will be happy. Or hopefully gloomy.

I trust Mitchell to identify the right players to bring in. Just as long as we bring in a ST and a CM. Not just one or the other. Both are desperately needed.

Not pissing on your theory but we have had ample time, and enough resources to secure one player that is an immediate need. Between them Baldini, Mitchell and Levy just have to take some responsibility for working at the only professional British football club fielding a single striker two weeks into a new season.

It belongs in spurs chat not in itk discussion. We started the season with 4 strikers i think you'll find.

Always wondered why the thread wasn't called the ITK discussion thread to discuss player transfers, 'the ITK Transfer Discussion Thread' is aptly named for Jasper's case.

Think we need to make a move for Ben , Archie, and a few others ?

I wonder what planB is for chelsea/manu and city and what level of player it is and shouldn't we have been going for their planB in the first place, assuming they are what we are looking for.

Do you think that there might be just a chance that their plan B might not want to sign for us, even if our plan A, just in case the others dont get what they want? Morgan S being one such example.

Why didn't we keep on Soldado until we had a replacement?

Because there were too many supporters, esp on this site, who considered him a waste of space.
Amazing how their viewpoint can turn.
