I agree with this and a lot of the other comments here - the focus should be much on does it create an advantage or not, rather than who / where and how.I think the focus on "accidental" and "intentional" is such a big part of the problem. Maybe 1 in 100 is as deliberate as Henry's. Almost all handballs are accidental or unintentional. And that forces the officials to base a lot of their decision-making on guessing.
Think it would be much better if the focus was more on if it was avoidable at all, and even more importantly, if it creates an advantage.
Based on current rules, yesterdays is fine even though it creates an advantage which leads the the goal.
Yet - if it was the goal scorer, and it merely brushes his arm, not changing the direction of the ball or creating any advantage at all, it would (or could) be ruled out.
It’s totally illogical.
