He was so wobbly after that knockdown, that KO 5 seconds into the 2nd felt inevitable after they were letting him back out. Pereira is incredible.Alex pereira is a complete monster. Knocks down jiri in the last second of the 1st round. Then comes out and knocks jiri out with a monster kick in the first few seconds of the second round.
Just to add I think Herb Dean should have stopped the Pereira fight as soon as the head kick landed but didn't and allowed too many additional shots that were not needed.
They're not getting Gane - that would have been their biggest drawFight night in Paris is going to be at 18:00 but Manchester PP is at 03:00.
I get it’s a bigger card and they want the American viewing numbers but it’s still really shit.
He's definitely gotta be the fastest, most powerful puncher I know of, but to say he would ruin the whole UFC, I'm not sure. It's a whole different ball game defending against takedowns, leg kicks, etc. Would have been so interesting to see though, that's for sure!!Wathing Tyson vids on YT, he would ruin the whole UFC.. thiughts? Never seen a guy hit so hard and so fast, withb I absolute no tell. IMO he east the best there has ever been. His righty and upper cut insane.
It’s not just his attacking the guy could take some serious blows and just keep going like a steam roller. But yeah I’d loved to have seen him in the cage. He's definitely gotta be the fastest, most powerful puncher I know of, but to say he would ruin the whole UFC, I'm not sure. he had to short for a calf kick to have much attectiveness. One calf kick and he’s done..![]()
U can grapple all u want, wrestled all I want, u take a chin one ur fucked. Anyone who watches any kinda fighting will know that. Tyson could put another one out clean cold. And again his small frame would make it hard for anyone to put him down with ease. Tyson was a very intelligent. Boxer? I’d say more intelligent than most MMA wanna bes.Tyson isn't doing anything from on his back.
Tyson trained as a boxing and only as a boxer. When you're in MMA you have to train your striking, your takedowns (offence and defence) your grappling, submissions and defence. There's so much there that you have little time to specialise. Even if you look at some of the best strikers in UFC like Adesanya and Anderson Silva, they all had clear weak spots against grapplers. Additionally these guys like Jon Jones and Gustafson are using elbows and forearms. The crossover just wouldn't work
