On now for uneducated updates to pad out 10 minutes of radio.
It’s over.

Hope Troy does not turn out to be another Edwards....Kid head swelled believing in his own hype

If it is true he feels he is too good for the Under-23, I think Jose got it right...

Saw Parrott in some uefa youth lge games and it did seem he wasn’t as up for it as the others. Did not celebrate much when scoring.
Apparently very good in the u23 v Wolves scoring and playing for the team. 45 mins to sharpen him up for tonight when i’m Sure he will get some decent minutes. He is a class player, not just a goal scorer but contributes to the team. Looking for a good performance tonight. We just need someone in the middle to play off.

Oh well, Kane missed his first pen too didn’t he?
Kane missed a penalty when we were already 5-0 up. This is a very different situation. People should have recognised that we're desperately poor because this is Mourinho's choice of how to play. The schoolboy is not the solution to that, putting all that pressure on his shoulders was incredibly unfair, and now the kid with a questionable character has that as his memory from the first time he's got significant minutes at NWHL.

Won't be seeing him again this season.

Poor guy. Still admire him for willingness to take one.

Well no but I just mean it’s not the end of the world for the lad. & we don’t have many options, a mixture of bad luck& bad planning.

I hope it isn't. But fuck knows how he feels right now. Playing him while we're in this situation is incredibly short-sighted.

If he has the right attitude he'll just work extra hard so that the next chance he gets he can erase that memory and improve on it.

That's all you're looking for out of young players. I'm not going to begrudge someone for missing a penalty kick. You may as well flip a coin to decide the match.
