As we don't have a recognised striker available for a few months and Jose keeps saying we are in a dark place why does he not consider Troy for the CF role. Prolific goal scorer and holder of the ball. I appreciate he is only a " kid" as Jose, in my view disrespectfully, calls him but when times are tough you have to call upon all your resources. We couldn't do any worse than we did today. I had no idea where a goal was going to come from. No outlet, no target man, no nothing. Jose must think outside the box and call up Troy. Seems a really obvious move at this stage in the season when we are really struggling. Seems Jose has already thrown the towel in which is disheartening for fans and more importantly the players.

A shit parrot must do a better job than what we are doing. At least everyone can then play in their natural positions

Well, I say give Parrott and Skipp minutes against Norwich in the FA Cup. We need to make wholesale changes for the game anyway to keep the team fresh.

Let's protect him to death. Will probably be ready when he's 23, cause that's how it goes, one day you're just ready. No need to build over time, just have to pass time, until you're ready

If he was good enough he would be starting. Another overhyped player. I member when everyone here was wanking off to Marcus Edwards. Look how that turned out.

That's kind of the point, youth won't reach their potential without game time. Marcus Edwards is now not the player he should be - neither are KWP, Onomah etc.

it's not as simple as that. go back two months and you could have said if tanganga was good enough then he'd be starting, you will only know for sure once you put them in. plus from what jose has said parrott's lack of involvement is more about maturity than ability

as for edwards, he is doing well in portugal and is still young, he had his issues but poch handled him terribly.

He was on the bench when Kane and Son were in the team just 2 months ago. There’s absolutely no logic to why he shouldn’t at least be on the bench now

This is Jose looking to assert his authority on a kid who ,in one way or another, has upset him imho

It has to be an attitude thing. Either in training or in the break. He's got a cap for his national senior team ffs, it's an absolute no brainer to have him at least on the bench. Greenwood's just scored for United, what possible harm can it do to give Parrott a run out here and there?

No wonder Parrott has got distracted with off the field stuff. The lad hardly ever gets to play any football. He’s played about five matches all season. How’s he supposed to get that fire and hunger. Not too mention we’re desperate for a striker and he doesn’t even get a look in. I’d be disheartened if I were him too.
