Was a mature performance from him and the other youngsters, gave Mourinho what he needed from them rather than taking risk for own glory.

Some info and quotes re: Parrott in this Standard article from Dan Kilpatrick. The gist is Jose likes him and hopes to give him more first team opportunities in order to convice Parrott that his future is with Spurs... Bayern and Dortmund have reportedly shown interest.

He’s not British but even if he was no. Ramsey was younger. There’s 7 players younger than him.

How old actually is he? He's gonna be somewhere around here I would have thought:

From Dan Kilpatrick:

"Mourinho said Parrott would "possibly" be involved at Boro but that it is "too soon" for him to be considered a Kane replacement. Added that the 17-year-old is unlikely to go out on loan until he is 19-20." "If at all"

Not really loving the above remarks about him not going on loan for a couple more years? I doubt we'll see much of him this season but surely he needs a loan next season to get some competitive football under his belt?

watched jose's press conference earlier and he was more or less telling troy to sign a new deal as well so i guess it's the chicken/egg situation again that we all know too well.

If the stars align and Troy gets a goal and puts in a good performance this Sunday, he'll certainly make Jose reconsider his views on him.

Our 'loan policy' or lack of, is fucking shoddy for a club of our size and stature and has been for many a year.

Hope he stays but I can’t see him improving in the way he would at a German Club where he will get the chance to play

Which is very strange, given loaning out Harry Kane did wonders for him to become the player he is now.

Needs to be on our bench every game, and come on to get minutes regularly.
If we do that then I don't mind him not going on loan.
