He needs to be an option on the bench when we are struggling with bus parking teams.

It's a shame he was too early in his development when Kane's was injured the last couple years. The run of games he would have got would have been a great opportunity for him.

I'm sure he could get in the squad for an early round cup game. That said ireland should just put him in straight away if they don't have any one really above him in the pecking order.
He should have been playing for the Irish u17s a couple of months ago but got called up to the u19s. Now he’s made his u21 debut and people want him sent through to the full squad. The u21 manager will be the full manager in a couple of years. He gets to start that job now by being around a few players who will be the next generation, Ireland’s new centurions with 100s of caps between them. He can wait another 6-12 months as far as I’m concerned. And strangely enough he’s not the only big striking hope Ireland have got.

Mick McCarthy stated that Parrot needs to be involved in first team action for Spurs to be able to break into the Irish side. I’d love to see more of this lad in the first team. Hopefully he’ll get his chance in the cup

I think Poch needs to get him in the first team squad pronto. There is no other striker option and , with Lo Celso out, an attacking space is available . This lad will already be having agents in his ear offering him riches elsewhere, possibly abroad. He seems a very self -confident type and we cannot afford to lose him as per Sancho at Man City. We are no longer the club most likely to give opportunities to young home grown talent. Poch is starting to worry me a bit in this respect, and we know how stubborn he can be when everyone is saying he should do something. I know TP signed a contract this year but cannot find the length of it?
I say get this lad on the bench for Premier league games now( at least those we ' should win' and start him in the League Cup

He's 17, so plenty of time for him to bed in to the first team. I don't think any club would risk him leading the line at this age, so he's better of training with Kane and taking the starts when they come his way. Next season will be the one where he will start making more noise, especially if he continues on this trajectory.

Has he been spending time with Robbie Keane? Pretty sure he said similar every time he changed sides!

Either that.......or he's an American on St Paddy's day!

barca had a 16 year old winger/forward playing for them tonight and he even scored one and assisted another, poch has said before that if they're good enough then they're old enough but i don't think he'd entertain the idea of playing someone that young in a million years. funnily enough the player in question actually played against us last season in the uefa youth league, a game in which parrott scored and we won 2-0.

How old was Skipp when he first played for us?

He could have been on the bench today tbf. Hopefully we'll see him in the coming weeks.
