IMO Wanyama and NKoudou were there because we wanted to trot them out in the shop window for a bit. Also I think Poch will want to work Parrott in gradually, potentially a cup game or two first to ease him in. Imagine the toxic comments he would get if we put him in at 1-0 down vs Villa and didnt win the game - the club will want to make sure he gets his career off on the right foot.Hard to see him getting minutes if he can’t make that bench today at home Vs Villa. Why we needed x3 DMs is beyond me. Should have been there ahead of wanyama or Nkoudou. Just hope he doesn’t enter Pochettino lost zone and end up not even playing for U23. Strikers need to play for confidence and rhythm.
If he's not on the bench I don't get why he's not playing u23s.
In any case, Nkoudou has no future here. Parrott should be on the bench ahead of him imo.
I suppose they need to get Nkoudou in the shop window over the next couple of weeks though. Parrots time will come.
I know this is probs a joke but he hasn't really had a decent crack at it with us. Looked dangerous when he came on at the end of the match v Villa and I hope for his sake that he gets a move which helps him restart his career. The best way to sell Nkoudou is to make sure no one actually sees him play football.

Agree with the other posts that come 1 Sept Troy will rightly be making plenty of matchday squads.
Probably so you’re not scratching around for replacements when half of them drop out. It's great that he's in the reckoning but what's the point of announcing a provisional 40 when you have to cut 17 of them?
Possibly they'll look to bring some of them along for training if the clubs are willing even if they can't play this time? It's great that he's in the reckoning but what's the point of announcing a provisional 40 when you have to cut 17 of them?
Plus to get a better look at some.Possibly they'll look to bring some of them along for training if the clubs are willing even if they can't play this time?
Only if he actually plays - but in any case there's nothing to suggest he's actually eligible for England at all, as far as we know he's pure Irish.Does that mean he won't get an England cap? Bit mean to deny a player a move to a bigger team!

Ways and means, ways and means! He's not going to play for England. He a Irish through and through.
Feck off.
