49M and 200k/wk for Werner? That’s freaking insane. An embarrassment we weren’t all over that.

We had an awesome run. But these top 4 chases cause a lot of stress. Will be fun to be back in mid-table mediocrity for a while with not much to worry about.

Maybe we were but I think Chelsea are a much more attractive proposition to him right now. He's going to be their main man and they're currently less of a mess than we are. He'd be daft to come here considering we have Kane and Son and how crap we are behind them in all honesty.

Tbf Dier was probably our best cb for the few games he played towards the end. Never stopped shouting at those around him. Think with a good preseason behind him getting coached in the role by Jose and it might just save us a bit of money to spend on a player we desperately need, a midfielder to protect he defence. Too many times this season players have just been running directly at our cb’s

Yeah, Toby has definitely declined. I like Dier there a lot and I think there's maybe just about enough there to be competitive options wise with Toby, Japhet and maybe Foyth as back ups. Maybe we can get somebody experienced in for a reasonable fee, who knows.

The DM has to take priority above all else now Kane and Son are back.

I would be happy if this summer the biggest change we make is signing a highly regarding DOF whom would be given the power to manage/employ his own scouts, have their own budget to work with and no involvement from Levy.

We really need to sort out our defensive frailties first ie LCB full backs DM goal keeper are area we need to be concerned with. I believe we have creativity and forward power to trouble anyone but we are far to weak.

The argument that we don't need him doesn't wash with me - could say the same with all the youth Chelsea have either brought through or signed prior to Werner - they just continue to add talent - this is part of the problem with our '18 window. Strengthen the areas that need it - fine - but don't miss out on chances to add more talent - competition brings out the best in some, pushes others and finds out those not up for the fight.

Plus keeps the ones you want to keep. I bet Harry would of been much happier with us signing Werner than Bergwijn for example.

but you won't refuse to eat when you can't have steak and lobster would you? i am annoyed with levy's approach in transfer market but can't say poch is totally faultless in our failure in transfer market in recent years which lead to the decline of the squad

Yeah was a joke. Pulisic would have been previous season and they prob budgeted for the kovacic signing but we know they are financially doped. With the 80 playerd out on loan every season taking all those loan fees.

I'm saying I don't believe that Poch would only accept those players. Levy also couldn't sell a single player but we're supposed to believe it was Poch's fault we didn't buy anyone? Doesn't add up & never will.

I'm very pessimistic but I at least think we'll bring in Hojbjerg... outside of that.. No idea.

Really frustrating when there are going to be lots of very reasonable deals to be had this Summer. I can only imagine the fire sale thats to be had in France & Portugal.
