Here's what I'd do (over at least two windows):

Expiring Contact/Not Renewed:
Jan Vertonghen:
Love him, but really concerned he's past it at this point. He'd probably do great in Italy.

Sell:
Christian Eriksen/Erickson/Eriksven/Ehlrichson:
Inter for hopefully around 15-18m.
Victor Wanyama: Not sure if you'd get much for anymore, but would look to move on immediately.
Cameron Carter-Vickers: Not going to get a shot; move him on to a Championship club. Last I heard we were looking for 4m and Derby County might be interested.
Danny Rose: I don't care, I'm tired of him. Sell him to The Sun and let him write stories or something.
Eric Dier: Harder for me because I think he's one of the few players with some fight in him. Just not sure he can play at the level we need anymore.
Kyle Walker-Peters: He's never going to get a chance. Let someone else get use out of him.
*** I also would not be opposed to selling Winks and Foyth.

Buy:
Konrad Laimer -DM/CM - RB Leipzig:
Can really do it all in midfield and would be great sitting behind Ndombele and Lo Celso. Really good interception/tackles per 90 stats.
Matty Cash - RB/RWB: If Aurier continues to play well until the end of the season, this position could actually not be a huge need. Already apparently getting interest from AC Milan and Everton, but feel like he'd be a fantastic young prospect to target (along with Tanganga's versatility, we will have plenty of cover).
Alex Grimaldo - LB - Benfica: If the plan is to move forward with the unbalanced RB/LB then Grimaldo is the perfect alternative to Davies.
Eberechi Eze - AM/Swiss-Army-Knife - Queens Park Rangers: Another talented attacker to add to the ranks.
Striker: No idea, someone who can lead the line.
Centerback: Again, no idea. Guess this depends on how Jose views Sanchez, Tanganga and Foyth. If all three of those guys are considered good enough going into next season, we should be fine.

Rw: adama for obvious reasons
Lb:telles
Cb: upemacano or konate.

This is a wishlist

For me my wishlist is something along the lines of this which would man a massive clearout and definitely a bit unrealistic due to the sheer number of players we'd have to move

Out:
Alli
KWP
Wanyama
Dier
Rose
Sissoko
Vertonghen
Eriksen
Lamela
Moura
CCV

In:
Eze
Dayot Upamecano
Jayden Bogle
Alex Telles
Mousa Dembele
Dani Olmo
Thiago Almada
Jude Bellingham
Idrissa Gueye

Out: Vertonghen, Wanyama, Eriksen, Lamela, Foyth, CCV, KWP, Rose, Sissoko.
In: Grealish, Eze, Piatek, Ruben Dias, Max Aarons, Florentino Luis

I have absolutely no idea how we're going to address all these spots in the summer. Just assuming we probably won't.
Grealish & Eze to replace Eriksen & Lamela would be awesome. I think Mourinho will really want to bring in another CB to compete with Sanchez as I'm unconvinced he likes him. A new DM is glaringly obvious and Aarons to grow & push Aurier would be great. Save LB & GK til the next year.

I think we need to tap into that Portuguese market with Mourinho being such a legend over there.

8 Outs over this window and next with 3 youngsters out on loan:

Piatek/ Willian Jose (JANUARY)
3rd choice HG GK on a free - Darlow or Ruddy etc (FREE)

Total spent - £250m-£275m

Total cost - £150m-£175m

Our squad next season:

Winter window:

Eriksen out - he's turned into a smaller version of Tom Huddlestone. Get him out so Mourinho can't pick him anymore.

(I don't think it's cos he's not trying btw - think we played him into the ground under Poch and it's gonna take a while before he recovers)

A striker in: Maybe Piątek (not sure he's actually that good but I live in Poland and my little boy's half-Polish so would love to get a Polish player at Spurs)

We need a DM. I am aware that Florentino Luis (plays for Benfica) would be an ideal candidate and he's not getting much game time. He is very young though.

However, a friend (far more informed than me) said that we should be all over a player from the Bundesliga called Serdar (sp).

Out:
Danny Rose
Jan Vertonghen - really would prefer him around but it might be that time. He's only a couple of years older than me and he seems old now :barefoot:
Victor Wanyama
Kyle Walker-Peters (Loan)
Juan Foyth (Loan)
Christian Eriksen
Cameron Carter-Vickers
A whole host of U23 loans - hopefully we can utilise our link with QPR and perhaps others for this

In:
Tomas Esteves - highly rated Portuguese right back, contract expires next year, man sized at 17
Unai Nunez - love it when a centre back takes the ball and cleans out the player without conceding a foul. This guy.
Eduardo Camavinga - enough has been said. Got more about him than Luis, although a massive fan of him also.
Eberechi Eze - hopefully done and dusted.
Francisco Trincao - a proper right winger, glue on his shoes, can pick a lofted pass, and rapid - Newcastle have bid 11 million for him reportedly. We ought to grab him now - don't see anyone with that skill set here. I'm not sure Clarke has the same explosiveness.
Jack Grealish - nothing needs to be said
Odsonne Edouard - came through PSG academy, smashing it at Celtic. Last French striker who went there is doing OK

I'd imagine we will go for more tried and tested, but really we need an injection of youth into the side. Grealish is the oldest there by a couple of years.

Suat Serdar from Schalke. Really good player.

Declan Rice, especially since Spammers seemed destined for the drop.

Raul Jimenez, mainly for his hold up play and I think would be a good fit with and without Harry.

Went and watched the RB Leipzig match today and despite the loss, I was left feeling like I'd happily take any outfield player from that starting XI.

With a need to give Sonny and Lucas competition in the wide areas and genuine power up top, go all out to woo Timo Werner.

If there was ever a player to smash your transfer record on it's him. WF and FWD ability he would give us next leap levels, plus we can offer him first team football week in, week out if he is willing to play the WF role like he often does as well. The perfect signing.

agreed. I just think it’s very unlikely we’d get him.

but yeah, he’d be ideal
