Good news about Raso but I won't be happy to see Bizet go if that report is correct. We also loaned Ros Ayane to Chicago yesterday. I'm hoping with just under two weeks to go until the deadline we'll be seeing a bit more activity.

She became very close with Clinton. Think we can rule out her sitting out final year of her contract to join us . .
Bizet such a positive personality in the group as well.

Would be gutted if Celin goes there as quickly became my favourite player as typical Spurs. Thought the Raso signing explained why we let Ayane leave yesterday on loan.

Also only just saw this Grace Clinton interview yesterday

Reckon Raso replace Bizet. And that we let Ayane leave cause we have faith in the youth coming up; Lenna Gunning-Williams and Araya Dennis.

Yeah I agree, I think it was probably always the plan for Ayane to go out. She barely played last season.

We need a Norwegian replacement, Signe Gaupset from Brann would be ideal. 19 year old attacking mid who shone in the UWCL last season. Wouldn't cost a bomb and has incredible potential.

Absolutely gutted for Kit.

Agree we definitely need another CM, we've only got 3 now and all 3 of those had lengthly lay offs last season. Obviously doesn't mean it'll happen again but don't want to risk being left super short. Would love for us to get a more combative midfielder, someone to just sit in there and snuff out attacks. Its something we've been missing for a few seasons I think.

This could be a hard season after the progress made.

Clinton we knew probably wouldn't return, but losing Bizet and Graham as well now , plus good squad member in Ayane, means we are now very short.

Two Aussies in but there must be more business to be done surely

Left footed player, she points out the part of her game with the ball at her feet rather than defensive attributes. So guess she's not holding midfielder at least.
Shame for her that men's game against her former club Ferencváros isn't a home game.

Interview:

Her talking about Champions League experience brings up a thought I've had about how the game now is starting to mirror the mens game. Where arguably 6 of the English clubs are among the 20 best clubs out there, while there's very few spots to qualify. Can see where that's headed.

I see that Chelsea also has begun to limit interactions between players and supporters, which was one of the wholesome part of women's game, but which you'll probably see disappear more and more with interest and status.

I was just reading a thread about her in twitter and they said she was used as a CM when Robert was part of the club, but tore her ACL in 2022 and when she came back she was mostly used as a winger/attacking midfielder. So be interesting to see where she's used, or if it'll be more of a utility role.

On the Chelsea thing, I don't think its surprising and can see it happening more and more as the crowds get bigger, and more expectant. Tottenham don't have the biggest crowd but even with those who go I've seen less than great behaviour from some fans wanting a picture or autograph and it'll just get worse.
