Very good news. I was worried when AJT came back that it meant we wouldn't sign another CB and we'd be back with putting midfielders there like last season due to injuries!

Also had confirmed this morning that Bara has left, which is no surprise as she didn't come back for preseason. She didn't seem to be the keeper we needed for Roberts system, too slow/hesitant to come for the ball but we'll always have the NLD to remember her fondly!

Have to agree, as much as I love this group, its ceiling is probably a 5th place finish (barring a complete mess like United last season). Not improving will see you go backwards.

Hope more to come, but the free agent market has pretty much dried up now.

Barb is another confusing point. Wonder if her departure is delayed by us trying for a replacement, but then you’d expect her to still train. Suggests she’s 100% gone. My hunch is she will move back to Slavia Prague.

Good article, Robert seems like such a good man, which is something that is a real bonus with some of the male managers in the women's game unfortunately.

My only gripe of this article is the misspelling of players names, or getting the name wrong.. pretty poor and not the first time either.

I’m hoping that the reason its happened is because Celin wouldn’t renew her contract so we’re cashing in now rather than her leaving on a free but it still hurts.

Yeah I know, that’s what I meant. I assume we would have had discussions about renewals and if we’d put a release clause in that one, it would have been a damn sight higher than 60k.
