That's the Grace Clinton dream dead then

Until she's out of contract next summer...

Hopefully puts an end to idiots on socials commenting ‘sign Grace’ under every post, including new signings. Closure…even though we’ve known for months.

Yeah this is how I felt too. It was getting a bit much. I think sometimes fans forget that there is a selling club and it's not all up to us. I'm sure we would have wanted to keep her, and probably tried, but I never thought that they would sell. Particularly after the off season they've had with star players leaving and just basically bad PR for them. Letting a young star go, that fans love, would have been another big hit for them.

We can just hope that she doesn't have a great time there (but not to her detriment) and then we get her on a free next summer 😂

In other news, Baras move to Juve fell through it seems. Still not in training or even in the country though, so maybe a case of just finding a different club rather than staying.

My wife is looking to get two season tickets, but still waiting for them to go on sale. Anyone know when?

Not a new sign up but renewed for 3rd season in a row in the legends. It's been a great extra connection to Spurs., surprisingly more than I initially expected. Don't mind the 20% increase from last season to support the team. Big jump from two years back, but the journey has been worth it. Hope we can get to the stage of having all the matches at the main stadium as Aston Villa even recently announced them doing.

Women’s lack of transfer activity making the men look positively busy!
It is very quiet, though to be fair we've do have longer til the season starts than the men. I'm sure Robert has a plan...

I'm very interested to know what's going on with Bara. She was linked with Juventus but that seems to have calmed down now and as a far as I can see she's the only one not returned to training yet who should have, unless we gave her extra time off for some reason. You'd think she would still be training to get fit, even if she was wanting to move on.

They work hard and take strides forward, but it's difficult to see how we'll catch up with the teams above us who continue to sign top internationals.
The team we were closest to, Manchester United, have strengthen with two of the players nominated for player of the year - one being Clinton weakening us.

I'm hoping that we already have deals sorted and just haven't announced them, like in the winter.

They have, but they've also lost several key players so who knows. Especially with Skinner in charge.

Have to agree, as much as I love this group, its ceiling is probably a 5th place finish (barring a complete mess like United last season). Not improving will see you go backwards.

Hope more to come, but the free agent market has pretty much dried up now.

Barb is another confusing point. Wonder if her departure is delayed by us trying for a replacement, but then you’d expect her to still train. Suggests she’s 100% gone. My hunch is she will move back to Slavia Prague.

At least the women's transfer window is running to the 13th of September.
Indeed, although very little usually happens in the women’s game past the initial burst of free agents. Although certainly more fees being paid and thus more movement than used to be. I was expecting our signing announcements to coincide with the return to training, perhaps different this time round.

Looks like AJT has signed a new contract... and we've announced it by having her do a "Buy a season ticket" video on social media 😅
