I don’t follow women’s football really but I’ve read a bit about her and she’s supposed to be amazing. Watched a video of her doing a shooting drill and bloody hell she likes the top corner. Well done to the women’s side, can only be a good thing for the club

Alex Morgan?! At Tottenham?!?!?! We were second division a year ago, not quite sure how we've pulled this off, she's one of the best women ever to play. Co-captain of America, 107 goals in 169 caps, a treble winner in France, a Champions League, two World Cups and Olympic Gold. Brave choice from her to cross the Atlantic with a young baby too, that shows commitment, here's hoping she's a huge success.

To make a comparison, I'd say this is perhaps the female equivalent of Lewandowski rocking up on loan to Sheffield United. Sure, in their 30s now, but the sort of signing which would be unfathomable in normal times and several levels above anyone else at the club.
